When Emma Thompson entered the eight level, the first thing she could see is a large garden and the huge wall behind the garden. In mid of the garden stood a cute little house. In front was filled with flowers and different kind of plants and backyard was set up as playground. She walked to the house and looked at all the stuff inside and smiled. ''Cute indeed.''
She turned around and walked to the wall. Her hand swept over the wall and her whole body was instantly scanned from top to bottom. ''Identification finished. Clear to enter.''
As the voice finished she passed trough gate that was just open enough for her to sweese in and it closed back with a clank.
After that, the wall again looked just like this never happened.
From teh other side stood quite a view.
As explained before, every floor had a humongous space and the eight floors were actually the biggest from the ten floors.
When she entered she saw her daughter playing with the dog on the hill far away from home so she rang the huge gong.
The sound echoed in huge space and the girl and her dog run fast back home.
She is not worried that something could happen to them, it was just time for lunch and she wanted to eat with her child.
''Mom, mom... the butterflies are born. Whoa, you have no idea how pretty they are. So many colors.'' Aisa used her hands to express herself making Emma happy.
''As long you like it. How is the fish pond. Everything fine there?''
Aisa nodded. ''Yes. They seem to like it there and some even swim in the river in circles. It is so nice to see it. Even the free chicken are happy.''
Emma nodded. ''In this place there is no direct danger for them so letting them roam around is fine as well. The eggs will taste better and their meat will give us enough nutrition.''
Aisa sat by the table and started nibbling on the pizza that just came out of the oven. ''How are things progressing up there? Are you bit nervous?''
Emma stopped eating pizza and just had to drink it water before explaining. ''I hope we can finish all preparations. Most people I wanted here inside are already in and were given their tasks. Now, all we can do is to hope that people we hired will finish their tasks on time as well.''
Aisa nodded. Even if something happened upstairs her mother made sure that there is no way that any zombie can enter this place. It was practically impenetrable so she felt quite safe.
''Mom I will go for a swim, wanna come?'' Aisa asked while seeing her own motehr putting a set of protection glasses and sitting on a comfortable chair and starting to work on her newest program.
It seems this one is really important. Every time the mother acts like this means she was about to make some big breakthrough.
She smiled. Her skills can't be comparable to mothers but looking at things her mother wrote for a few moments, she realized that the program that is now made will be life-changing for humanity to survive.
She slowly left the room and closed the door tightly so nothing could disturb her.
''Mother, I know you act strong, but still deep in you, the fear is still making you restless.'' She looked up to the ceiling where lights hung giving the feeling of nice summer. Including bit wind that was actually blown by huge fans.
She liked this place. Since she became healthy she liked to enjoy simple things. Waking up without pain, breathing, smiling, jumping, climbing the trees, swimming...
The huge pool that was made in the backyard actually was only deep up to her chest. But the size was enough for a bunch of kids to enjoy it.
She smiles ironically. Why would she let a bunch of kids inside here?
Once she went to the public pool and so many people jumped into it to swim. She even saw some small children peeing in that water and since then she was disgusted with anything that could be shared with other people.
People share their bottles, food on the plate and even the same spoon in the school cafeteria but she hated the idea. So with time, she was started to sit alone and she loved it.
Some of her school colleagues were feeeling sorry for her and wanted to include her more into society, but her wish not to be around such people was not enough for her to wish to escape as soon as possible.
Luckily the summer break is on so she could just enjoy her time.
She lazily laid on her bench and covered herself with a blanket. The dog jumped on the bed next to her, cuddled into her arms and the two of them fell asleep.
