Zhao Zheng

A week passed since Yun returned to Zhending and rumors of his victory against Lu Bu, the God of War, spread around the Empire.

In every corner in every city people were talking about Yun and his men which made Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu run away with their tails between their legs.

But Yun knew it better he was training in the courtyard while Diao Chan was taking classes from Wei Mei. The children were either running around the manor with the tigers or Madam Su and Zhao Xian would take them out on a walk.

The Gold promised to Yun arrived half a year after his return which Cheng Pu escorted with his men towards Zhending. It was more than enough gold to upgrade his troops as their numbers increased thanks to Yun's reputation.

Two years went by and Yun was sitting in the main hall with the twins, his father, brother, and Huixiu. The twins and Huixiu were quite nervous but not as nervous as Yun.

Everyone in the room knew that Yun was holding everything back to reassure his children and Huixiu when Mulan asks, "Why did Mom suddenly begin to pee and feel pain?"

"That wasn't pee, Mulan. Your mother went into labor as your younger sibling signalized that he was ready to join us," says Yun as he explained to his almost nine-year-old twins and his almost six-year-old daughter-in-law.

They only looked at him confused as Yun smiled at them when Wei Ru comes into the main hall and says, "It is a healthy boy."

"How is my wife?" asks Yun as he looked at Wei Ru for an answer.

"She is resting at the moment but she lost a lot of blood this time. I suggest that you don't have more children," says Wei Ru suggesting Yun since Diao Chan might not survive it.

"I will keep it in mind but first let me see the child and my wife," says Yun as he stood up and walked towards the door.

Everyone followed him as they reached the bedroom finding Diao Chan holding her third child who seemed to be holding on to her finger as if his life depended on it.

Yun entered first but the three children rushed past him as they wanted to see Diao Chan and the new member of the family who had his eyes closed.

The twins looked at their little brother with Huixiu while Madam Su pulled the three away from Diao Chan as Yun walked over and looked at his newborn son.

"How do we name him?" asks Yun out of his wife since he was expecting a second daughter and not a son so he had no name in mind.

"Zheng, Zhao Zheng," says Diao Chan weakly since she was exhausted from pressing that lovely meatball out of her body.

"Zheng, his name is decided then," says Yun as he takes his son out of his wife's hands to take a closer look at his son as he did with the twins when they were born while his father and mother were a bit nervous.

"It is too early to say this but I think he will be a pretty boy like my little brother," says Yun joking about it making the people in the room laugh as his brother turned red in embarrassment since he couldn't deny what Yun said.

Yun was stocky and manly while Hua was muscular and had a pretty face which attracted too much attention from the other gender and the last two years Madam Su put some pressure on Hua to find a woman and finally settle down.

Yun was aware that his parents were nervous because of the name Diao Chan has chosen for his second son which was the name the First Emperor of China was going by before he ascended the throne.

Yun didn't know if his family was related to the First Emperor of China but going by the reaction of his father and mother it could be possible but he didn't want to spoil the moment so he ignored it for now.

Yun was rocking Zheng in his arms which seemed to relax the little guy before the other three surrounded Yun to see Zheng when Yun crouches down so they could see Zheng.

"From now on you will have to protect your little brother Zheng when I am not around," says Yun to the twins making Huixiu feel out of place when Yun pets her head.

"He will need your protection as well, Huixiu," says Yun making the little girl happy because she became part of the protection squad Yun was talking about.

Yun then removed his hand from Huixiu's head and placed it back under Zheng before standing straight again. He places Zheng beside his sleeping mother who he kisses on the forehead before saying, "Let us give them some time to rest."

"Alright," say the three children when Qing arrived at the door with her husband.

"Did we come too late?" asks Qing as Yum smiled at her and accompanied her inside while everyone else left the room.

Xian was glaring at Wei Yan and he wasn't the only one since Wei Yan was feeling Wei Ru's glare as well before he got hit on the back of the head by her.

"Your Lord's wife was giving birth. Where were you at that time while everyone else is waiting outside," says Wei Ru angry with her son.

All of the other commanders and generals of importance were waiting outside in the eastern courtyard patiently for Yun to tell them the news.

"Now now, I think that he can't be hold responsible for something that is out of our control. I also heard that the boy took Qing out of the city to enjoy some tranquility without spying eyes on them," says Madam Su defending her son-in-law since Diao Chan going into labor today wasn't planned since they believed that she would need a week or two more before giving birth.

They all went to the courtyard leaving only Yun and Qing alone with the mother and child as Qing wanted to run over toward her sister-in-law and her youngest nephew but she controlled herself and walked slowly over to the bed with Yun.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" asks Qing whispering curiously as they approached the bed.

"It is a boy. She named him, Zheng. She must want him to be upright or straightforward," says Yun since Diao Chan didn't know much about history like many other commoners.

"So she doesn't know that the First Emperor was named Zheng before being known as Qin Shi Huang?" asks Qing as Yun nods.

"She mustn't have known but father and mother were nervous when they heard Diao Chan name our son like that," says Yun as he picked up the sleeping bundle of joy and told Qing to hold her arms right before he placed Zheng into her arms.

"Back then you were still too young to hold the twins but now you are old enough and knowing my student he must be already trying to make one with you," says Yun which made Qing blush as she cradled Zheng in her arms.

"Yun!" says Qing sharp at her brother forgetting that Diao Chan and Zheng were sleeping.

Yun takes Zheng from her arms and places him back with his mother before he says, "We should leave I still have to tell the others about Zheng."

Yun then walks towards the door with Qing as they walked down the corridor when Yun asks for her hand surprising Qing who gives him her hand. Yun places her palm over his when he began to pour some Qi into her body to see if his student made a good job.

"It seems he did a great job," says Yun happy for his sister as Wei Yan and Qing are married since last year to each other making Hua the only one of the three without a partner.

"Am I?" asks Qing as she knew that Yun was always right when it came to sniffing out a pregnant woman.

Once one of the servants was declared by him on leave they knew that a kid was on the way like when Ren was released from work two times which revolved around her pregnancy.

"Pretty much, my nose is never wrong when it comes to this," says Yun bragging about his accuracy.

"You should have become a doctor instead of a soldier. You would have made more money," says Qing as Yun smiles at her.

"If I did, I would never have met my wife not have my three beautiful children. So I think I went in the right direction by becoming a soldier," says Yun as Qing leaned against his arm.

"And I wouldn't have met my husband," says Qing as Yun patted his sister's head.

They reached the courtyard in which they find all the people Yun trusts with his life as they were drinking wine while waiting for him to inform them about what it is and the name of the little creature that will become the second young master.

Yun announced to them that it was a boy and gave them the name of his second son which made only Huang Zhong and Pang Tong tense up for a moment while the rest seemed to not know about it or feigned ignorance to not spoil this moment.

They began to drink wine while the kids only received water or a bit of juice since they will be going to bed soon.

Yun was sitting beside Pang Tong when Pang Tong says, "I heard that Lu Bu was driven away from Chang'an."

"I heard the same it seems that someone named Jia Xu was behind everything. He must be quite remarkable to make Lu Bu retreat from Chang'an with his men. But that also means that soon our time will come," says Yun with a smile.

"So it is beginning again," says Pang Tong excited as Yun was feeling excited as well.

"In a year we will be called to arms again. We will be moving with everyone leaving nothing behind leaving Zhending behind us for some decades. Maybe one day it will fall into our hands again," says Yun as Pang Tong smiles at him.

"Our army has grown and you need more strategists since I can't multiply myself," says Pang Tong as Yun looks at him.

"Do you have someone in mind?" asks Yun as Pang Tong grins at him.

"I have many names in my head that can suit your army," says Pang Tong as Yun looks at his cup of wine.

"Good, make them pass the same exam you had to pass in the past. I will look forward to the strategists you will invite," says Yun as he drinks the wine in his cup in one motion before he enjoyed the feast celebrating the birth of Zheng.
