Chapter 14 - Kyoto Arc 5

Shirou Emiya dreamed again but this time he wasn't dreaming about a sky that was red like blood or a sea of blood pooling around him. Shirou was in a pure white room with nothing but the man Shirou saw that he was sucking all the blood in front of him.The man with long black hair and wearing a red fedora was chained both of his hands, his eyes and mouth were covered by a white cloth with a cross. Shirou didn't know who is the black haired man in front of him was but Shirou could feel that the man in front of him was a monster.

And suddenly Shirou heard a voice in his head.

(Master, why did you choose that child instead of me?A Low-level vampires like her is not worthy in front of me! Take off my seal so I can get out! And I show you what a real vampire is like!)

After that creepy man talked about things that Shirou didn't understand at all, Shirou woke up from his sleep in Shinkansen and he realized that the train was about to reach Kyoto.

Negi was not beside him and he saw that the other member of group sixth were also getting ready to get off from the Shinkansen.

Before getting down from Shinkansen Shirou had already carried out a structural analysis to one of the frogs that appeared suddenly.

From the results of Shirou's structural analysis found something that caught his attention. One of the female attendants who brought the food trolley turned out to be the culprit. And Shirou already knew her face.

"Everyone! we've arrived at Kyoto!Please come out slowly and check your belongings twice so you don't leave anything behind on the train!" Taiga said.

Students in class 3-a follow Taiga's instructions and come out slowly from the train, and then all students from class 3-a take the bus to get to their first destination, Kiyomizu Temple.

Out of the bus students from class 3-a gather with their respective groups and start walking towards the Kiyomizu temple.

"Kyoto!" Sakurako shouted.

"Stop it!"said Ayaka.

'Country bumpkin!' Said Chisame in her heart.

Chisame was annoyed why she had to take the Study Tour which she thought was useless.

"Ooooi Shirou, Eva-chan, Chachamaru! Come here, Asakura will take a picture for us!" Rin shouted.

Shirou, Evangeline and Chachamaru ran towards Rin and the group Sixth who were posing in front of the fence overlooking the forest.

Shirou is in the middle, Rin is on his right and Sakura is on his left. Saber is behind Rin and Luvia is behind Sakura, the shortest Evangeline is in front of Shirou and Chachamaru stands behind Luvia and Sakura because her body is almost as tall as Shirou.

Yuna Akashi from group 4 looked at Shirou and the sixth group who were posing for a photo. Her face turned slightly red when Yuna saw Shirou's face. Yuna realized that she had fallen in love with Shirou.Yuna herself didn't know since when she fall in love but clearly every time she saw Shirou interacting with another girl Yuna felt pain in her chest.

Nodoka Miyazaki fall in love with Negi from the first day Negi came, but Nodoka did not have the courage to express her feelings. But during this Study tour Nodoka strengthened her resolve and decided to express her feelings to Negi. Therefore while Negi was chatting with Ayaka and Makie, Nodoka approached him.

"Negi-sensei! Will Negi-sensei accompany our group when we are at the second destination?" Asked Nodoka.

Negi was quite surprised when Nodoka suddenly spoke to him, but Negi thought because Konoka was in a group with Nodoka in group five, it would be more practical for him to protect Konoka if he joined Nodoka's group.

"Alright Miyazaki, I'll go around with your group!" Negi answered.

"Wait, Miyazaki! Negi-sensei will walk around with my group, you know!" Said Ayaka.

"Honya-chan! Negi-kun will accompany my group!" Makie said.

Nodoka felt intimidated and backed away, but Negi stopped Makie and Ayaka then said.

"I'm sorry, Class rep, Makie-san but I have decided to go around with group 5. I hope you two don't feel annoyed at me."

Seeing Negi begging like that to both of them. Makie and Ayaka blushed. The two of them who really liked Negi couldn't get mad at Negi.

"O-okay, Negi-kun, I won't get angry." Makie said.

"For Negi-Sensei, how can I be angry." said Ayaka.

The second destination, Nara Park. The deer that is the hallmark of the Nara region walk around freely in the Nara park.

Negi acted like his age when he saw a deer in front of him.

"Shirou-nii, Asuna-san saw that there were many deer around me!"

Shirou and Asuna smiled at Negi and involuntarily both of them are holding each other hand.

Rin and Sakura who saw this certainly did not accept when Shirou held hands with Asuna. Especially Rin who was Shirou's legal wife.

Sakura quickly pushed Asuna and Rin pulled Shirou towards her, after that Sakura and Rin took Shirou to another place leaving Asuna who was still sitting on the ground because she was pushed by Sakura in confusion what was really happening to her?

"Rin, why are you holding my hand tightly like this? Sakura, you too." Shirou said.

"Shut up!" Said Sakura / Rin together.

Shirou became silent and did not dare to speak, after which Rin and Sakura took Shirou to take a walk in Nara park flanked by Rin and Sakura. Rin held his rght hand tightly and was the same as Sakura on his left.

Meanwhile Evangeline and Konoka were also jealous when Asuna and Shirou held hands. Can only follow Shirou flanked by the Tohsaka sisters from behind because they were both late holding Shirou's hand.

Negi walks together with Nodoka, because Asuna and Setsuna are looking for Konoka. While Haruna and Yue both separated themselves to give Nodoka a chance to express her feelings for Negi.

Negi and Nodoka take a walk together, see temples, Buddha statues, feed deer, and take pictures together.

When Negi and Nodoka arrived at a place that was quite roomy and quiet. Nodoka finally saw an opportunity because he and Negi were in a quiet place.

"Ne-Negi-sensei!" Said Nodoka.

"What's wrong Miyazaki-san?" Negi asked.

"I have liked Negi-sensei since I first see you!" Nodoka answered. "I know this is sudden, especially the teacher and student relationship is something that is somewhat inappropriate, but I just want sensei to know my feelings."

Negi who suddenly gets a confession of love from Nodoka. Suddenly became silent because he do not know what to react.

"Excuse me, Sensei!" Nodoka ran away and left Negi alone.

Asuna and Setsuna who were looking for Konoka saw Nodoka running past the two of them and were surprised why Nodoka was running so fast with blushing faces. Asuna and Setsuna then continued walking to look for Konoka. Then Asuna and Setsuna saw Negi whose face turned red and his body became so hot and then Negi collapsed.

"Arrgh, Negi!" Asuna said.

"Negi-sensei!" Said Setsuna.

"Aniki!" Camo said.

"Camo! What's wrong with Negi?" Asked Asuna.

"Nodoka-jou-chan expressed her love for Aniki. Because Aniki was confused by what he had to do. His brain got hot and Aniki fainted! "Camo answered.

"I never thought Nodoka-san who was quiet and daydreaming can be so brave." Setsuna said.

"Honya-chan's actions are completely unexpected!" Asuna said.

Negi is finally taken by Asuna and Setsuna back to the bus so he can rest.

The Arashiyama Inn, a place for Mahora students to stay overnight. Negi who is still unconscious was taken to the room that had booked for him and then left to sleep.

9 o'clock in the evening in Shirou's room.

Rin and Shirou were talking about the projection magecraft that Shirou had. Shirou had felt the strangeness of his tracing ability when he had just arrived in a new world the object or weapon that was projected by him did not disappear or be destroyed after a few hours unless Shirou himself wanted the object projected by him to disappear. Shirou showed the glass that he projected to Rin, then Rin compared it to the original one.

."Shirou the glass that you copied is 100 percent the same as the original and there were absolutely no defects when I did the structure analysis of this glass, your magecraft is not just a simple projection or tracing but this is the first true magic! Denial of Nothingness!" Rin said with a trembling body.

"I mastered the first true magic! How can that be?" Asked Shirou who was confused by the changes to his magecraft.

After chatting for a bit, Rin returned to the room where the girls from the group Six slept. Because it was impossible for her to sleep in the same room as Shirou during the study tour. "Gyaaaaaaaaaaah!" A loud scream was heard from the room where group 5 was sleeping. Right before Asuna and Setsuna entered the room.

Haruna, Nodoka and Yue fainted and their bodies were lying on the tatami in an incoherent position.

And there was a girl wearing a monkey costume, holding Konoka.The girl looked at Setsuna and Asuna then said.

"I'll borrow princess Konoka for a while, okay?"

The costumed monkey girl escaped through the window while carrying Konoka.

While Asuna and Setsuna could not move because when they were both about to chase they were trapped in a kind of super sticky glue that came from a paper talisman thrown by the girl in the monkey costume.

Shirou, who was on patrol after he talked to Rin.

Ran towards Konoka's room after hearing a screaming from that room and Shirou saw Asuna and Setsuna trapped by super strong glue. While the other three members of the fifth group were fainting. Shirou then cut the glue that was attached to Asuna and Setsuna so that they both could move again.

"Shirou-sama, Miss Konoka was kidnapped by someone and that person ran through the window!" Said Setsuna.

"That's right Shirou! We must immediately chase after Setsuna!" Asuna said.

"Apparently my guess actually happened!" Shirou said, "Trace On! Ministra Magi Kagurazaka Asuna!"

Shirou strengthened Asuna's body using strengthening magic, and a bright light enveloped Asuna's body.

"Asuna, I already have strengthened your body! You carry your pactio card, right?" Shirou said.

"Yes." Asuna said, showing her pactio card.

"Asuna, Setsuna, let's go we must save konoka! "

Shirou, Asuna, and Setsuna ran briskly towards the girl in monkey costumes that carrying Konoka. But the girl threw the talismans at them and that talisman released large amounts of water.

"Rho Aias!" Shirou uses his flagship flower-shaped shield, Rho Aias, to hold the water that attacks the three of them.

"Damn!our distance with her getting larger." Shirou said, "But I can tracking her by feel Konoka's magic energy. Setsuna, Asuna, follow me."

Setsuna and Asuna actually wanted to ask how Shirou could feel magic energy from Konoka. But because saving Konoka was more important Asuna and Setsuna, kept that question in their hearts.

"Hitobarai no Jufu, a talisman that making ordinary people cannot pass." Shirou said.

"It seems our enemy is a pretty good talisman user." Setsuna said.

On a long stone staircase in the middle of a high-rise building the girl in the monkey costume stopped. The girl then took off her costume and reversed the costume. A girl who was wearing a attendant clothes wore round glasses and a long white apron. Her long black hair was unraveled and blown by the wind.

'That was the culprit who summons a frogs in the train." Shirou said in his heart.

"Fufu, all of you can chase me up to here," said the girl. "But that is enough! you all cannot go further! accept this third talisman! Kyoto Daimonjiyaki! "

An enormous fire appeared and formed a wall of fire which blocked the girl with and the three of them.

"Trace On! Wind sword, Mel Force!" Shirou raised a green sword with a wing-shaped decoration at the end. Shirou brings out a huge wind from Mel Force, and the wall of fire disappears due to the wind blown by Shirou.

Asuna and Setsuna immediately ran towards the girl when they saw the wall of fire that made by the girl disappear.

but when they approached the girl, suddenly the two of them was blocked by an animal costumes which was moving on its own.

"Ah! There's a costume that moves on its own!" Asuna said.

"That's not a costume!" Said Setsuna. "That's Enki and Gouki, a type of shikigami used to protect a talisman users."

"Adeat!" Asuna said prepares her artifacts to fight the girl's shikigami.

Asuna thought that what came out was a large sword, the same as the one in the picture of her pactio card. But what came out instead was a harisen with a long line that read Ministra Magi Asuna.

"Oooi, Shirou !Why the big sword not coming out! Instead, this harisen that coming out! " Asuna said.

"That is the basic form of your sword Asuna!" Shirou said. "Its original form is still sealed because it's your first time using it!"

Asuna tried to hit one of Enki and Gouki with her harisen, and surprisingly one of Enki and Gouki was immediately destroyed.

Asuna then hit the other Enki and Gouki and just like before it vanished in one hit.

Shirou, Asuna and Setsuna quickly ran towards the girl. But when they were almost in front of the girl, a woman with a long katana and a short katana appeared, blocking the three of them.

"My name is Tsukuyomi from the Shinmei school. Setsuna-senpai sorry but I was paid to guard Chigusa-sama." The girl sped towards Setsuna and attacked Setsuna.

Setsuna found it difficult because Tsukuyomi's sword skills were equal to her and Setsuna knew it would take a long time for her to defeat Tsukuyomi.

Asuna was about to help Setsuna, but Shirou stopped her and said.

"Asuna, stay here for a while now. I will be a little serious and help Setsuna and Konoka together."

"Trace On! Silfarion's the speed of sound sword!" shirou pulled out a bright blue one-edged sword and used the speed that came from the strength of the sword plus his own speed that came from strengthening magic.

Shirou moved so fast that he disappeared from view.

"Shirou disappeared where did he go? " Said Asuna who was confused because Shirou vanished from her eyes.

When Asuna looked back at Shirou in his eyes. Tsukuyomi's body who had been against Setsuna had fallen to the ground in tattered clothing and a body full of cuts.

Ehile Chigusa the girl who kidnapped Konoka, the situation was more or less the same as Tsukuyomi. Setsuna was surprised because Tsukuyomi had suddenly collapsed and unconscious with a wound in front of her. And Konoka was carried by Shirou on his back.

"Setsuna, Asuna, let's go back to the inn. I already defeat the enemy." Shirou said.

Asuna and Setsuna nodded and they followed Shirou from behind and they walked back to the inn.

"Shirou-sama once again saved me." Said Setsuna in her heart.

"Shirou is indeed very strong and full of surprises." Asuna said silently and with a blushing face.

Unbeknownst to the three of them Konoka has woken up since she was carried by Shirou. But Konoka chose to pretend she was still unconscious, to enjoy the rare moment held by Shirou.

author Note: Saber and Luvia are not in the Shirou scene holding Asuna's hand, because they were invited to drink tea with Ayaka. Mel Force and Silfarion in this chapter are from the manga rave master.

in this novel there are a lot of magic and so on but that is just a spice for the story and not something that you want to highlight magic is something bad and the author does not want the reader to believe about magic and so on.
