They stared at each other for a minute, but soon Gabriel spoke, "Are you sure you want me here?"
Lanying looked down at her hands and said, "Yes."
He noticed his heart racing after her reply. He gulped and exhaled heavily before saying, "Okay, but there are few things I'd like to make clear with you."
Gabriel was still in his office clothes, so he slowly took off his shirt. He said to Laning, "I am twelve years older than you."
"You don't look your age at all," Lanying said as her face flushed with his words.
"Because I am older than you, I'll go straight to the point."
Lanying merely nodded.
"I won't sugarcoat things or you."
She nodded again.
