Feud of the Snow Crow 1/2

"Oh, now that's just rude, now you've just spread it" Qrow said wiping his hand off on his pants, " I do have to say, you're little warships get gaudier and gaudier by the week" he said holding his hand over his forehead and looking up at the Atlas military transport ship.

"You do realize you've assaulted a regiment of Atlas soldiers as well as destroyed two valuable Atlas Knight units?" she questing, her rapier lowering as her left hand remained behind her back, her ees staring daggers at Qrow.

"Oh, these thingies?" he said kicking one of the heads head torn off the Knight units towards Winter who easily dodged it by slightly moving her head to the side. The kicked head now making a beeline for Arthur face who also quickly dodged it in the same albeit less elegant manner. "I thought they were trees, see I came out here to get some wood to build a giant middle finger so I could set it up outside your house" Qrow said, "But all I found was Grimm shit"

"How dare he!" Weiss shouted, "Has he no idea who he's talking to!"

"Oh, he does, he just doesn't care" Yang said chuckling at her uncles casual disregard for military personnel.

"That's my uncle!" Ruby said puffing her chest out and beating on it with her fist proud of her uncle.

"I have no intention of dealing with your games Qrow, unlike you, my time is precious" Winter scowld her voice getting more annoyed the longer she stared a him.

"Jeez, and here I thought you'd be happy to see me" Qrow placed his hand on his hip and stumbled backwards slightly.

"The day I am 'happy' to see you, is the day I slice my throat and feed myself to a Toskr" her annoyance beginning to get to a burning point.

"Ouch, that hurts, really" Qrow sarcastically placed his hand over his heart feigning heartbreak, his eyes widening for a moment before a grin formed on his face, "No, it can't be… are you still angry about Tuesday? It was only one time, I thought you'd like it, seems I was wrong" he let out a deep sigh and threw his hands into the air, "So much for me being a good boyfriend"

Between Yang, Ruby and Weiss there was an audible doubletake as they each began to cough.

"What did he say!?" Weiss screamed.

"No, that's not possible… uncle Qrow, having a girlfriend? No just… just no" Yang shivered.

"I-I don't know how I should feel right now…" Ruby also shivered, "I love him and all but-but someone dating him?" she questioned herself "Why?".

"Silence! You mongrel!" Winter raised her rapier her eyes turning furious, "You are nothing to me!" she yelled.

"Oh, come now, Snumpkins, that's no way to talk to your Snooglybear" he mocked her in an overly cute voice, causing a very light flush to fill her cheeks but her expression only getting angrier and angrier.

"Do not call me that" She growled through grit teeth.

"Did… Did he just call my sister… 'Snumpkins'?" Weiss was left dumbstruck

"Did he just call himself… 'Snooglybear'?" Ruby was also left speechless.

"I-I… Yes, yes he did…" Yang replied, whilst Arthur was doing his best to not laugh. Whilst Blake was unashamedly giggling behind her hand at her teammates shock.

"We are nothing now Qrow, mistakes of the past stay there, now silence yourself, before I assist you in doing so" She growled.

"Bring it" Qrow raised his arm up to her a smirk on his face.

"Gladly" Winter muttered, her left heel digging into the dirt before she launched herself forward sending fallen leaves dancing into the air, her body blurring due to her speed. Eventually reappearing in front of Qrow, her body low to the ground and her rapier pointed up to Qrows head as she quickly sent numerous stabs aiming for the various soft spots on his face, those being his eyes and throat in particular.

Yet each stab was easily dodged by Qrow as he simply tilted his head to the side thus avoiding each one, until Winter sent another stab towards one of his eyes at which point he slammed his hands shut on the blade catching it millimetres away from his eye, a shiteating grin on his face as he gave Winter a wink.

The wink causing her even more rage as she quickly brought her rapier down out of Qrows grasp and quickly sending slice after slice across his body, which each once again being dodged as Qrow turned his body and took steps to the side and backwards. One of his hands going behind him and grasping the handle of his sword in a backwards grip and quickly bring it up to lock blades with Winter.

"Engarde" Qrow smirked as he slashed harbinger to the side, breaking their standstill, Qrow quickly spinning Harbinger into a forehand grip sending aura infused slashes against Winter, each one leaving a small trail of light red aura that quickly disappeared.

Winter avoiding each attack just as easily as Qrow had using backflips to make distance from him as well as throwing herself into the air with a short backflip as a white glyph similar to that of Weiss appeared behind her which she used as a springboard and launched herself towards Qrow with a lunge faster than most of the students could see.

Qrow once again brought his sword up glancing Winter's rapier to the side before quickly jumping backwards as Winter spun around sending another slash towards him which he returned in like as he also slashed colliding with her rapier.

Each clash of their blades leaving trails of white and red where their weapons passed through the air, the clanging of their metals filling the air along with the cheers of students mostly siding with Winter, the boys in particular. Whilst Ruby and Weiss cheered for their respective family members, Yang opting to keep quiet whilst Blake also watched giving her own cheers every now and then.

The fight escalating with each hit, eventually resulting Qrow turning his torso backwards quickly spinning it as he threw a powerful slash against Winter sending her skidding backwards leaving a trail where her feet dug into the earth coming to a stop directly in front of Arthur.

Winter quickly straightened up and look to Qrow but soon quickly slashed her rapier upwards to deflect a bullet that Qrow had shot from the barrels either side of his blade which had curved downwards to provide an open line of fire for the bullets.

Arthur also quickly raised his right arm in front of himself and activated his aura around his body, feeling numerous small impacts against his Aura, 'I can accept once, but twice? Really!?' Arthur thought shrugging off the shotgun pellets, his arm only slightly lowering as he kept a cautious eye on the fight, a plan beginning to formulate in his head if Qrow continued 'not' aiming for him.

Once winter had deflected all the shots she quickly spun her rapier above her head before stabbing it into the ground creating a large glyph that spun under her feet, the appearance of the glyph also creating many small blue snowflakes that danced around her body.

As the spinning of the glyph got faster it began to release a heavy mist from which six similar hands burst, each of the five fingers connected by a light blue, translucent webbing, the fingers almost twice the length of regular fingers with deep blue claws protruding from each finger, as well as numerous white, almost invisible scales covering every inch of exposed skin that came began to appear from within the mist.

The creatures Winter had summoned soon burst from the mist and began to circle around her, three almost human female figures, each one's body being long and thin almost skeletal, standing almost six feet tall on the ground, their arms long, much longer in proportion to their bodies, each leg ending into fins instead of feet, thin, almost translucent bony plates covering their lower bodies and barely concealing their diminutive chests leaving barely anything to the imagination.

From their backs sprouted a single large dorsal fin that retracted into their bodies, along the spine of the fin the normal bony plates with a slight blue tinge to them. But, compared to the rest of their almost human bodies their heads were the most monstrous, their necks elongated almost twice that of a humans with multiple slits across the side of their necks where feather like gills extruded.

The entire upper part of their face covered apart from their lower lip and chin, the mask wrapping across the sides of their faces and curving towards their chins across their cheeks, the mask having little to no discernable facial features apart from their eyes which bulged out of the mask slightly with a light blue glow to them. And lastly their hair was long and thick; each strand tangles with the next and flowing across their bodies as if wind flew at them from each direction. And lastly two thick antennae coming from the sides of their heads each flowing like their hair and ending and a bright pale blue, bioluminescent light like an anglerfish.

"What are those" Arthur muttered, not helping but to compare them to mermaids as well as possibly images he had seen of undines and sirens.

"Weiss… did your sister just summon women?" Yang asked moving her head slightly to Weiss whilst watching the three flying women charge towards Qrow who had remained as calm as ever, the woman leaving a trail of mist behind them as almost ethereal laughter filled the air.

"I don't know, they should be grimm but their human how-how can she summon humans?" Weiss muttered in amazement.

"Weiss? What are you seeing?" Arthur asked, finding hers and Yang's wordings strange, even he could tell that they were grimm, even if they did look human at first glance.

"Three women, why?" she asked confused.

"I see, we're seeing two different things then" he muttered in interest, "Illusions?" he pondered as Blake poked him in the side attracting his attention, Blake being unable to make eye contact with him.

"Their called Sirens, they are a type of grimm often found around rocky alcoves along Menagerie and often in Atlas waters, they're not very powerful on their own but a group of them are said to be able to sink entire fleets by dragging the sailors into the waters by using their illusions and hypnotizing voices, tricking people into thinking they are helpless woman who had been shipwrecked and stranded" she explained, "Though, no one really knows what they look like, their bodies dissolve before their illusions completely dissipate. And they stink of rotten fish…" Blake held her nose and began to gag slightly, even though the smell was barely noticeable to Arthur.

"Then why can I see them?" Arthur said, surprised at the revelation, "Why aren't their illusions working on me?" he questioned staring at the three figures dancing around Qrow each sending small slashes with their monstrously long fingers and claws all whilst Qrow dodges and sent back attacks of his own, seemingly uninhibited by their illusions" all whilst Winter pulled her rapier from the ground and extracted a second, smaller blade from the handle and charged towards Qrow, who locked eyes with Arthur for a second before smirking and kicking one of the summoned Sirens towards him.

"Oh, I am so going to kill you one day Qrow" Arthur muttered to himself, resolving himself to getting his revenge as he brought his left leg back and dug it into the ground and both his arms going up to catch the flying Siren.
