Muse - Boredom

"I SWEAR TO GOD JYNX IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP I'M GOING TO RIP OUT YOUR VOCAL CHORDS!"

    Jynx won't stop crying. I get that Madee is upset and that breaks my heart too, but ever since she discovered that she was a grade A banshee her crying has become unbearable.

"But Muse," Jynx whined making me grit my teeth, " she's not okay. She's upset and that's just not okay at all!" She started crying even louder.

    "Jynx."

     2...

   "I understand that."

     3...

    "But if you don't shut up right now."

     4...

    "I will whip out my whole being and sing you a pretty little death song."

     5...

    "Then you won't only be a spirit you'll be a strangled spirit."

    Jynx must've sensed I was very serious because she shut up and cowered in the corner quietly watching me and the screen. "I just want her back." She said quietly. I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. "I know babe, I know. But she's out living her life and you know the only way to get her back is to have her die or posses her. And since you and I aren't old enough to posses we have to wait." She nodded and sniffled. My heart hurt. Both of my best friends were upset and I couldn't do anything about it.

    "Technically though," Jynx sat up to look up at me, "We are allowed to possess it's just frowned upon." Jynx started to smile. Not her happy smile, her messed up smile that his wickedness behind it.

    "No! We are not going to. I've broken enough rules in my life to know that this isn't a good idea."

    Her face got bold and her eyes locked with mine. "You can stay here and wait another year, but I'm going tomorrow. And there is nothing you can do to stop me!"

    I rolled my eyes. "You seem to forget that I have this nifty little power that let's me control you with the sound of my voice."

    "UGH!" Jynx screamed annoyed and I winced in pain. God her powers are insane. "FINE. WE'LL STAY HERE AND NEVER SEE HER AGAIN!" This time she had angry tears as she stomped away more upset than before.

    "Jynx!" I tried and failed to stop her from leaving, but she was already out the door and into the clouds. I sigh and lay back on our couch staring at the monitors on the wall. I watched my best friend cry while walking home.

"One day I'll see you again. I swear on my non-existent life, I will see you again."
