-Academy's Armory-
Worried for the well-being of her students, "Seriously, what the hell are you guys thinking?" Wai realized that she can't really leave them alone... Seeing some of the students slightly injured, Ai has lots of shallow wounds and Kiri unconscious, she's quite mad but something caught her attention.
'Kiri's Qi points on his hands are sealed. I don't know what happened but it looks like Kin really helped him. If they waited for me, he could have lost his life.' Without even seeing what happened, she already knows who did it knowing that only Kin has the hidden talent to do it. She's never wrong when it comes to her instincts.
Wai looked around to check something. 'Thankfully, no other officials are around or else this could really be a big deal. The son of the head leader getting hurt... that is really a big problem.'
*Sigh* "You guys can go home now. Don't tell anyone about what happened today. You, guys" Pointing at Sha, Nin, and Ai, "Better come with me and explain to me what happened."
So everyone left except the three of them while Ai carried Kiri to his back to follow their teacher. While heading towards the somewhere, they explained what really happened and it's good that her instinct was right.
...
It didn't take long before they reached the Academy's Infirmary.
-Academy's Infirmary-
They found a young and calm looking lady alone sitting and writing stuff on a paper.
Upon seeing them, Luao wearing a 3-star uniform, the Academy's Physician and known to be a level 6 Master 5th strongest student, invited them inside after seeing Ai carrying Kiri. Ai, put him on the Infirmary's bed and so Luao started her diagnosis.
"Wow, this sealing technique... it's pretty rare to see someone use Petal Arts." Amazed by what she saw, Luao now knows what the problem is.
"No need to worry now, thanks to the temporary sealing art, Kiri's life is no longer in danger. He needs a long rest though due to Qi exhaustion. But I'm pretty curious, since when did you start learning Black Petal Arts, Wai?" Looking at the youngsters, the only plausible person to use that kind of art should be Wai.
Surprised by Luao's statement, Wai scratches her head... "Ahhh... right... Well, I've got some free time..." and having a hard time thinking of a good explanation... Luao smelt something fishy.
"You're a bad liar, you know that? Jeez, I don't care what happened or who did this and that but as long as he's ok, that's all that matters. Oh, and young Ai, I should take of your wounds as well. You've been a bad boy, haven't you?" Scanning Ai's whole body while leaving a seductive smile, Luao is really interested in Ai's significant progress. She couldn't believe the news at first that Ai improved a lot but seeing it by her own eyes, it sure is magnificent for her.
Somehow... Sha is embarrassed, looking away, by what Luao is saying and doing.
"Jeez, I don't think I should stay here any longer and please don't make my students feel uncomfortable. Do what you must. I have to do something important." Wai finally left them with Luao.
"Yeah, right. Something important she says," Everyone let out a forced smile knowing Luao's right about what she's thinking.
Ai, feeling weird, "It's nice to see you again... but seriously, you don't have to..." Luao is one of the physicians interested in his condition being stuck in level 1 disciple so Luao visits him from time to time, mostly due to injuries inflicted to him by Kiri's bullying.
"We always do this at your house, why are you so-"
"Miss Luao, if we could leave as well, we must do training." Nin somehow needs to drag her brother away from Luao now. If she could check more of him more than this, Luao might find something more about his condition and that's not a good thing. The only reason why Ai is still alive is that the Black Fist Clan doesn't consider him as a threat at all.
"What, you got two girlfriends already? What a dog?!" Luao, sure, enjoys teasing the youngsters.
"I... I'm not! He's my cousin!" Sha's pretty embarrassed and defensive about it but Nin, "Ugh..." only felt gross about it.
"But fine, maybe next time. Kiri must stay here for now. I'll call some of the guards later to send him home when he wakes up. Better be careful out there." She said and went back to writing something on her notes.
The three of them bowed to her to show respect and walked away.
...
'This is kinda awkward...' Ai, accompanied by two girls, his cousin who has feelings for him and his sister who he doesn't really know that she's his sister... What a complicated situation to live in.
Somehow, Sha was a bit guilty of what her brother did so she thought of something to make up for it. "Uhm... if you want, you can visit my pavilion near our clan. At least let me do this after my-"
"You don't have to do that. It's better if we can go home early. Someone's waiting for us." Nin flat out rejected her invitation. Once again, Sha was struck by another embarrassment after what happened. Nin just wanted to avoid unnecessary exposure and Sha's feelings are only a small price to pay.
"Maybe next time, Sha. I just want to rest for now and thank you so much for the thought. See you around." Ai, still guilty of what she said to her before, he just doesn't want to involve himself more to the Black Fist Clan.
"Uh... sure..." Sha, really was hoping she could get to know more about Ai and Nin's relationship but it looks like cupid's really not on her side as of now. And yet, she wanted a little bit more time of him.
Both of them headed back home.
-Ai and Nin's Home-
Excitedly running towards the house, Ai opened the door as quickly as possible to find the young lady.
'Look at this boy getting excited. Maybe... it must have been hard for him being alone all these years. No wonder he's being like this' Seeing his brother happy, she felt the warmth inside her heart.
"You know, he tried to punch me and boom! You should have seen me kick his butt! I was so cool back there!" Excitedly telling a story of the heroic deed of the mighty Ai against the Devil Kiri while the young lady's eyes sparkle as if she's enjoying the story.
"Aren't you telling the story wrong? I think I heard Ai got his butt kicked instead." Both of them looked at Nin pouting for ruining the story.
Then the three of them burst in laughter. Ai seems to have found a new reason to live. They just met the young lady like a day ago but the young lady felt like she was home. Somehow, she's forgetting all the bad things that happened to her... of who she is or what she did before, it's all in the past now.
"Seriously though, we should think of a name for her." Ai really wants to try to impress the young girl with his naming technique.
Nin knows that her brother sucks at naming remembering a memory of him naming a pet of his a long time ago. "Sure, what do you have in mind?" Once again the young lady's eyes shined again. She sure gets too excited so easily.
"How about Yolala?! That's a great name, right?!" After hearing the name, the young lady let out a sigh of disappointment. "Ugh..."
Nin is really enjoying this. "And I thought you really tried to think of a good name." That's one bad example for a name.
Thinking too much is making his head explode and then a name appeared to his head. "Nin." He said.
"Well..." Realizing that his brother said her name to name the young lady, it kinda broke her heart...
'Did he give up on me now?' Thinking that using the name of someone who might be still alive, Nin thinks that he must have lost hope of finding her.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I just remember the name of my baby sister. So, I can't really name you Nin because you know, what if one day, you gals finally meet? Then it would be really confusing for all of us. Haha!" Ai sure can make her sister's heart skip a beat.
Then the young lady looked at Ai angrily...
"Eh? What did I do? Please don't be mad at me..." Then the young lady pointed to young Nin.
"Wait... what happened?! Why are you crying?!" Nin wasn't crying because she's hurt but she felt relieved after knowing that her brother has never thought of giving up on finding her.
"Fine, you can name her. You don't have to cry because of it, now you're making me guilty..." Ai sure is clueless but then Nin finally wiped her eyes and let out a smile.
"Then I name her Su'e."
