The Truth

"Listen guys, this is not the right time pointing out whom is to be blame! Rose, we need to follow Althea right now, she badly needs us." Maria said with problematic voice.

"Yeah. Right! Guys, thank you for inviting us. Last night is indeed fantastic. We will talk later in the school to settle. Please let us know if you have any vacant time."

"Sure. No problem. We will." Rey for the first time commented. I don't know where he came from. I didn't noticed his presence earlier.

The three of us was silent in a while as our visitors went out. I sighed deeply thinking of what just happened. While Alexander is tapping his foot on the floor nonstop. Upon hearing the sounds, It makes my head more hurts.

"I'm sorry!" Alexander said in all of a sudden.

"What for?" I asked.

"What happened between you and Althea is definitely my fault. If only I didn't do it." he said feeling guilty.

"Why? What did you do last night?" I asked. I think this conversation is going bad.

"If only..... If I only..."

"Look Alexander. What did you do last night? Why you are apologizing right now? What if the only for? Only what?" It seems that I can't wait to hear something from him.

"If only I didn't put some seasoning on her drink, she will not get drunk." Upon hearing his words, it's like hearing a big bell rung. My fist is faster than my mind. I punch him hard that makes him stumble on the chair. He wipe the little amount of blood on his lips.

"How can you do that? Are you insane?" I shouted.

" I'm really sorry Paul. Yes, I put something on her drink but believe me, I don't have any idea to harm her."

" No plan?" I hissed then in a second time, I punch him again more harder. Rey hold me tightly and tried me to stop and keep calm. "Then how come she was in my room? Did you purposely carry her to my room? For what reason?"

"Because she fall asleep after drinking." Alexander respond.

"Of course! What did you expect. You should know what happened next." I hissed. I feel like I will burst out anytime if I will not control my temper.

"Paul, please let Alexander finish his explanation first." Rey commented.

"Then Maria asked me a favor to bring Althea in the room. I am also drunk Paul. You know also, I am not in a right mind. I didn't even noticed you lying in that bed when I put Althea on your bed. After that, when I hold the doorknob of your room, ready to go, you...." suddenly Alexander paused.

"I'm what? What did I do!" I can't explain my feelings. Bad feelings inside for what Alexander might going to say next.

"You...you...suddenly kissed Althea while calling her Precious." As I heard Alexander, I kicked the center table that makes the bottle of liquor fall on the floor. The broken bottles cracking. That was unexpected. How can I still pronounce her name despite of the hatred for leaving me.

" At first, Althea didn't response since she was sleeping. But you seems like you want to savor her while calling her Precious again and again. I know it was my big mistake for not stopping you. But how would I know that you would do more than enough of that. I went outside immediately in you room to accompany her friends." he continues explaining. I know he was sincere. Like me, he feels guilty for what happened. This is not Alexander's all fault. I am part of this too.

"I can't even remember why I'm sleeping in your bed this morning Paul. I was too drunk. Too drunk that I can't think normally."

" Then what should our plan now? We need to ask forgiveness to Althea." Rey suggested.

"Althea thought earlier that I'm the one who touch and took her virginity last night." Alexander said. " We need to tell her the whole truth and apologize."

"No, nobody will tell her. But we should apologize to her. Telling her the truth is not a good idea. It is shameful in her part. Do you know that?" I said. Alexander stand suddenly and pointed his finger on me.

"What? Are you insane? Do you want her to believe that I am the one who touch her last night. You want to leave the situation like that?" Alexander is in hysterical right now.

"Why, do you have any problem of that? Remember, it is your fault from the very beginning."

"And who among of us were asking a favor to meet someone and pretend to be someone, huh?" the words came out on his mouth hits me.

"Wait, wait, wait! We should not blaming ourselves right now. We can't go back in time and change what happened. Right now, the right thing to do is to apologize to her. It seems like you committed a big crime. It's not a big deal guys. Althea is lucky enough to experienced it last night with you Paul. Knowing how many girls dreaming to be with your side even only one night." Rey who tried to calm us.

"I know. But I just took her virginity. That girl has never been touch by anyone until last night. Do you know that?" I exclaimed.

" But it is not your first time Chris Paul. It's not your first time having sex with someone who is still virgin. Let's not make this situation into a big deal." I know he has a point.
