Journey back

Ryo and Rose arrived back at the location of the ogres quite quickly. The ogres had not moved at all and had stayed put like loyal soldiers would. They sat in a circle with two of them asleep. The female ogre with pink hair had fallen asleep on the shoulder of their young master. The scene of them looked peaceful, and you could forget all the troubles around you if you looked at them too long.

"Welcome back Lord Ryo!" Surprisingly the blue haired ogre was the one who welcomed Ryo and Rose back. he had a respectful gaze towards both Ryo and Rose. Tho ogres lived a life surrounded by fighting, so all of the ogres that were awake immediately noticed Rose and that she was very powerful, compared to them.

Rose stood at the side of Ryo and scanned the ogres from head to toe. She finally got to the old man and they locked eyes. It was almost like they recognized another master, in the way of the sword. An invisible pressure started gathering between them, and Rose quickly dominated his pressure but he didn't falter and stood tall with his hand on his sheathed sword.

Everyone noticed the pressure gathering and Ryo was the one to break it. He started the introduction, forcing Rose and the old man to turn their attention to him and breaking their little competition.

"Hey everyone, this here is Rose. My sort of Right-hand woman. She is your senior both in power and age so treat her with respect. She is very old, you know" Ryo said with a playful smile and dodged a fist thrown by Rose aimed at his head.

"Elves age differently! I am not "very old" I am actually quite young." Rose defended herself.

"Kidding, kidding, now listen up. When i am not around she has authority over everything that is mine. That includes you, and the rest of my subordinates. Listen to her, or she might beat you worse then i would. And she won't hold back." Ryo gave a simple introduction and explained Rose's role.

"Understood!" Again the blue haired ogre answered eagerly for the ogres group with a serious tone.

"Now, we are moving to my village. I have a few things to do there before we can move on the orcs, so keep up." Ryo started running and Rose started running after him.

"Wake her up and start running, we can't lose them." The young master told the blue haired ogre to pick up the female sleeping peacefully while hugging her two handed sword.

"Understood"

The red haired carefully picked up the pink haired ogre sleeping on his shoulder and they all started running after Ryo. The blue haired ogre specialized in stealth and tracking so keeping up with Ryo and Rose wasn't that difficult for them.

The ogres stamina proved to be quite good and their ability to keep up with Ryo was impressive. He and Rose continuously increased their speed slightly to test the basic capabilities of all the ogres in that group. The two ogres that was sleeping had now woken up and was running with the rest of the group.

"Rose let's increase the speed a little more this time. I want to push them and see their limit." Ryo started to pick up speed quite a lot and Rose followed him quietly from behind.

The ogres were always about 15 meters behind Ryo but now that distance increased rapidly.

"Seems his test just began for real. Let's hurry, young master" The old ogre spoke and urged his group to pick up speed

"It seems that way. let's do it" The young ogre agreed and all of them increased their speed yet again. They were forced to run at full speed just to stop the distance from increasing between the two parties.

An hour or so later, the ogres arrive at the village and they saw Ryo and Rose standing there waiting for them.

"I'm impressed you managed to keep up with us to such a degree. You guys will probably be crazy strong when i name you." Ryo showed the ogre a smile and at the same time shocked every single ogre present.

"N-name? y-you will give us n-names?"The leading ogre asked, shocked at this revelation.

"Of course, do you think Rose had her beautiful name and amazing strength when i found her?" Ryo reached over and pinched her cheek lovingly. Rose swatted away his hand, and her face turned completely red.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? You don't know us and the second you name us we could betray you." The red haired ogres asked seriously, but he really wanted this because, who would pass up the chance of getting named by someone strong.

Suddenly out of nowhere a great pressure assaulted the ogres. All of them started sweating, even the old man had a hard time standing.

"You all would die before you even made your move." Rose spoke with a dark and scary tone and put her hand on her sword. Ryo quickly put a his hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"They are right to ask these questions Rose. you can't be to careful, right?" Ryo looked at the red haired ogre, who nodded to him.

"Well, let me put it like this for ya. You all would need the strength of Veldora the storm dragon to even touch me. So if that cleared any doubt you have about my strength, shall we begin?"

"V-Veldora?! You have the strength of a true dragon?" The pink haired ogre asked with a shocked face. The rest of the ogres were in a similar situation.

"Of course i do! If i didn't, i would never allow myself to call him big brother." Ryo said it in a casual tone but the ogres, and even Rose's jaws hit the floor instantly.

"Y-Y-Y-You!!! You are Veldora's BROTHER?!?!" Rose was the first one to react and screamed in his face. The ogres seemed to stare into the void as their eyes lost there light.

"Y-yes, what's the big issue here? Is my brother famous or something?" Ryo asked in confusion.

This time it was the blue haired ogres turn to speak.

"You could say that again. He is one of the strongest in the world. D-does that mean you are a dragon as well, Lord Ryo?" You could hear a little excitement in his voice.

"Well, as it happens. I am indeed a dragon. And i would with certainty say i am stronger then my brother." Ryo put on a prideful expression as he spoke. Lucky for him that Veldora was trapped in his body at the moment, or their might have been a brotherly fight breaking out right now.

"That certainly explains the wings. They do look like dragon wings when i think about it." The pink haired ogre said.

"yep, wait until you see my true body. Then your jaws will truly drop." Ryo's prideful voice echoed in the surrounding as they tried to quickly wrap their head around this information.

"Enough of this. Let's not speak about my family any longer, Where were we?" This little revelation had thrown him off his train of thought.

"M-my lord, you were about to gift them names." Rose spoke with even more respect now that she knew who Ryo's brother was.

"yes, yes, that's right. You, come here. No arguing." Ryo pointed at the young master and he stepped forwards obediently.

Ryo had his hand on the ogres shoulder since they were almost equal in height.

"I have already decided on your names. Accept them and wear them with pride. I gift you these names together with the promise that you will have your revenge against the orcs that ruined your lives."

"Take this new strength.... Benimaru!" Ryo spoke the name he had planned before hand and the ogres body started shining in a bright yellow light. the other ogre watched this happen and swallowed in anticipation.
