lies.

You see, I quickly found out that Min's home had become mine, and I wasn't going to be able to leave. All the windows had been boarded up, the doors were always locked from the outside, and I had a small spot in the attic with a mattress in it to sleep. Meals were delivered to me every morning, albeit steaming hot and fresh. Some days, it was as simple as eggs and bacon, but other days I could wake up to a plate of French toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs, or sometimes it would just be leftovers from the night prior.

Tae would often visit. He brought me clothes, whether they be old clothes of his or Jin's (Min used his old clothes to make things like washrags and the other two never bothered to argue with him on the topic), brand new ones from the store, or simply dirty clothes that had been washed. I think the worst part of the hand-me-down clothes from them was the hand-me-down underwear, but even that didn't bother me all too much.

Through my adventures in my new home (and talking to Tae and Jin), I quickly found out that all three were brothers. Min being the oldest at 26, Tae being the youngest at 19, and Jin being smack in the middle at the age of 21, like I was at the time. When Min was five, his mother remarried to a man who died not long after the wedding, and she adopted baby Jin, and later went to a club and got pregnant with little, precious Tae. She only died about six years before Min had kidnapped me and taken me as his.

Tae acts a lot younger than he really does, and that's because he's got really bad autism. By the time he turned 19, his mental age was twelve years young than that, which is why he sometimes replaces pronouns with first names, forgets prepositions, and just speaks outright grammatically incorrect sentences. He isn't able to control the way he speaks because his mind won't let him.

Tae smiled, kissing my cheek softly as he brought me my plate—a bagel with strawberry scream cheese on it, a piece of buttered toast, and a blueberry muffin. A baked breakfast. His smile widened as he revealed that he was holding two trays—mine with my plate and a glass of milk, and another that was identical, which was mostly likely his. He sat down next to the mattress and began to eat alongside me.

"Kookie okay?" he asked, his voice sweet as ever. He sounded like he was trying to speak English. None of us could speak it very well.

I smiled. "Yeah," I said quietly, ruffling his hair. I didn't want Min to know I was awake. Not yet. "How'd you sleep?"

He giggled. "I had a dream. Kookie was kissing me. He liked it and so did I."

I blushed. Tae was having dreams about me... kissing him? I hoped the blushing was just me feeling hot and not blood actually rushing to my cheeks. "Sounds like you enjoyed it."

"I did. I want that dream again."

I chuckled. I kind of wanted to kiss him now, just to make him happy. But I couldn't. It was against the code.

There was a paper that Min had taped to the door the morning after he had kidnapped me. It had a specific set of 10 rules that I needed to follow if I wanted to live or keep myself from getting raped too much. He called them "Yoongi's 10 Commandments." The paper went as follows:

1. Do not fall in love with or even bother to show affection to my brothers. The punishment is one session.

2. You must shower every night. If you miss a night, you must do it the following morning. Inability to do this will result in a session within the shower.

3. You must stay healthy. Eat three meals with no snacking, exercise in some form daily, and sleep 8-10 hours. Inability to do this will result in force feeding, forced exercise, and being monitored as you sleep as well as one session per every demerit.

4. Do not attempt to commit suicide or escape the house. The punishment for attempting to perform either action is one three hour session with no breaking whatsoever.

5. You are useless and you are sick and will be treated as such. Do not let anyone into your room and do not leave your room when ill. Failure to comply will result in a session once you recover.

6. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to contact friends or family members. Otherwise, you will be killed after a long and grueling session.

7. Always—always!—tell me if your clothes are ever too tight, too loose, dirty, or just not what you want. Especially your lingerie. Even though you're technically my slave, I want to keep you moderately happy. This is not a must, but preferred.

8. Never under any circumstances attempt to casually leave the house. While this does apply to the second half of Commandment 4, I am referring to asking to come to the store along with us, or asking to go outside. Ask us for something from the store before we leave and just ask us to turn on a fan or a heater to keep you cool or warm and to provide fresher air. Inability to do so will result in you being trapped in the attic as well as a two hour session.

9. If your religion is different from that of ours, then you're out of luck. You will celebrate our holidays and take participation in our traditions no matter what the rules of your religion are. Deal with it. Failure to comply with this rule will result in me carving our religious symbol as well as the word "loser" on your back with a knife.

10. I love you. Not a rule, but I want you to know.
