Traps

That's weird, why is the light pointing at Ren. I tried moving around but the light kept it straight to Ren. Suprised, I looked at Ren with a questioning look. He just looked at me with a concern look.

"What is this?" asking with curiosity.

"Nothing much." He walked up to me and touched the stone on my necklace. Soon after that, the light disappeared.

"What did you just do?"

"Nothing. Now let's move on before we come in contact with trouble."

We started walking in silence. Looking around I saw how we got here. One moment I was about to be blown into bits and the next was here in this peaceful woods that I didn't know existed. I hear birds chirping happily and the leaves rustling around. Listening closely, I heard footsteps. It was more than one. I went to warn Ren but it looks like he knew. He put his finger on his lips and motion me to follow him quietly.

I started panicking when I heard that they were getting close to us. But Ren's hands reached my hands and led me towrds a big tree. It was getting covered by vines and was wrapping around it. We were walking silently towards it until a bullet whizzed past my face. My head whipped behind us and a group had us surrounded.

"Come with us or we will be forced down you." They weren't hesitating at all. My heart was pounding but I wasn't scared. Was it excitement? One of them talked into a mic and nodded to the other men. I had a bad feeling about it. I looked at Ren but something was different about him. His eyes changed and his aura around him.

"Shoot."

Bullets were firing away and the next thing I knew, I was right next to a gunman and stabbed him through the chest with my arm. It was like I was trained for this and I quite enjoyed it. Half of them were down and checked on Ren. His formed changed. He had midnight black horns that curved around to his ears and his pupils were surrounded by the color of the deep sea. The form that he is in now was breathtaking. His skin also changed to a more brown color. He grabbed the armed man by the neck and ripped the defenseless man's head off. After he dropped the headless body, he turned towards me. I frozed in place. His eyes were watching me like a predator cornering his prey.

I spoke with softness, "Ren?" He turned around and replied with, "Give me a second." He stepped into the shadows and a couple of minutes later, he came back with the Ren I knew.

He came up to me with a cloth and handed it to me. I looked at him with confusion and he just took it back and started wiping my arm. I then noticed how I was dripping with blood. My mind went black at that moment. I felt my body fall and warm hands catching me with a voice faintly disappearing.

"Wake up, Luna." It wasn't Ren's voice but a female voice that had a light touch to it. I woke up to see that night had fallen. So much things happened like a blur. Men were trying to kill me and I killed one of them without hesitation. Am I becoming a monster just because I'm apparently a Berserker? I didn,'t want to believe in anything happened and just wanted to go back to my normal life with the friends I had left without saying goodbye to.

A tear left my eye and coincidentally a hand wiped it away. It was Ren, he looked at me with eyes that understood me. I slowly sat up and leaned against the tree. Ren handed me bread and I gratefully accepted me. After my last bite, I sighed. Was this my life now? Running until I either die or get captured?

A voice comforted me saying, "You will be able to get through this. You have me." I looked go my side and smiled.

"Thanks." He smiled back and squeezed my hand. Well, I geuss as long as Ren was here, I won't be alone.

It was then that my necklace started shining again but it wasn't pointing ay Ren. It was wrapping my entire body in its deep red color.

"What's happening?!" I shouted. Ren replied to calm down and let the necklace do its work.

"What?!" I shut tight my eyes, afraid of what was going to happen. After a while, the light slowly died down and opened my eyes. I gasped, there were markings on my skin. My hair grew longer and turned to a silver color like the moonlight and my clothing changed. I had no longer the uniform of my school but a bikini black top that wraps around to my waist area and black shorts with a piece of fabric covering it. My shoes were replaced with high knee boots and had two daggers which were slided onto the back.

I quickly stood up and went to a nearby lake. Looking into the reflection, I noticed my mouth had on a black mask with a dark red color outlining sharp teeth marks like a wolf's. Taking it off, my lips were black and my eyes were a rose gold color. I gasped and when I did that, I saw my canine teeth were sharpened. Who am I?
