Blossom City, Reunion

Bai Hei strolled around the city, looking at all of the shops.

This was where he was born, Blossom City. His parents had died to a cultivating beast, so he lived here alone. Because Bai Hei had no house, he usually did odd jobs or just steal something and then sell it for some money. Usually, the money was barely enough to have a good meal and rent a room in a run-down inn for a day.

Right now, he was looking for a shop that he might be able to get some 'benefits' from. Yes, he was shoplifting!

He didn't really care if what he did was right or wrong, he would do whatever he wanted! Plus, he needed to if he wanted to live. He had met some nice people who asked to take care of him. Some of them were just old perverts who lusted after his handsome looks, but some of them were truly kind. But he didn't want their pity at all!

Bai Hei looked quite dirty at the moment. Most of the time, he would jump into the fountains at the centre of the city to clean himself, but the guards were catching on and were stationed closer to the fountains. He couldn't even wash himself anymore...

But that's why he was going to shoplift extra today. Although the risk was higher, he could probably be able to wash himself at some inn with the extra money.

Bai Hei needed money quite a lot, and he could earn a load with his looks by selling himself. But he wouldn't degrade himself like that.

Bai Hei had crystal-like black eyes, and silky, fluffy white hair. He had naturally snow-white skin, but it currently looked brown from the mud, dirt and dust. His physique was quite muscular too. Not too bulky, but it was practical as well as aesthetically pleasing at the same time.

The current thirteen year old Bai Hei would grow up to be a handsome man that could bewitch any princess of any kingdom!

Soon, Bai Hei finally found a shop that was a good target. It seemed to have some sort of esteemed customer inside, so their attention would most likely be on the customer rather than him.

The shop itself was one that sold lots of things, specifically for cultivators. The name of the shop was: 'Hundred Items Emporium.'

Usually, Bai Hei wouldn't even dare enter the shop. It was a shop that was only for the wealthiest people. In the whole of Blossom City, this was one of the most well-known shops! There were many cultivators in Blossom City, and if they needed anything, such as Martial Skills, cultivation/medicinal pills, etc, they would come to this shop.

Bai Hei opened the pristine glass door carefully, and slowly entered. Only a few people in the shop looked towards the door, their eyes flickered with disdain as they saw his muddy state, but quickly they returned to their own business.

Bai Hei knew that these people were trying to see through him. They probably could tell that he had no cultivation, or some of the more cautious people may believe that he had a cultivation that they couldn't see through. But, obviously, that was unlikely, as he looked like and was a thirteen year old.

Bai Hei looked around the whole shop and realised a very average-looking old man sitting on a chair in the corner. Although the man seemed extremely normal, Bai Hei could tell that he was anything but normal. He seemed to have some sort of mysterious and profound aura surrounding him.

Suddenly, the old man's eyes opened as they drifted towards Bai Hei. The old man squinted his eyes before grinning lightly, and then once again closing his eyes, as if he had fallen asleep.

Cold sweat ran down Bai Hei's back. When that old man's gaze fell on him, he felt that all his secrets and intentions were exposed. He quickly left the shop in a hurry. As Bai Hei ran out, the old man couldn't help but to murmur to himself,

"Trying to steal, huh? What guts! Haha!"

Bai Hei quickly ran away from the shop as he breathed heavily. Who the hell was that?

But he suddenly stopped as his eyebrow twitched. In the end, he left without gaining anything. He groaned as he went to another shop, but as he was walking towards it and crossing the path, two voices sounded out,

"Hehe. We're disciples of the Blossoming Peach Sect, come along with us, let's have some fun?"

"Yeah, yeah! How about it?"

Bai Hei swished his head towards the sounds and saw two young men in white robes, standing opposite a beautiful woman. She had long, black hair and sapphire, blue eyes. Along with skin that looked like the softest and whitest of mutton jades. She also wore a robe, but her robe was light green, and was a tight fit, accentuating her curvy buttocks and round peaks.

Bai Hei looked at her but didn't spare an extra glance. She really was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her beauty probably surpassed most people in the whole world! But he couldn't really care right now. He was still pretty disappointed at the fact that he couldn't get anything from the Hundred Items Emporium.

Bai Hei once again looked at the two young men and the girl. He had a bad feeling that the men were about to get hit, the beauty's face was slowly scrunching together. She really was getting angry!

Bai Hei didn't realise but he was already walking closer. Somehow he ended up into the middle of the two parties. He then said,

"Errr... You guys, this is the middle of the city, you shouldn't start a fight here..."

At some point, a crowd had gathered around the scene.

"Yeah, this is the city, don't make random noise here!"

"We have things to do here, leave!"

"That's right! Do it somewhere else!"

"..."

The crowd started to shout at them to go away. But the two young men just got annoyed, while the beauty slowly calmed down,

"Girl. You're not coming..? At least tell us your name!"

The beauty looked at the two men coldly before simply saying with her surprisingly soothing voice,

"Bai Bingyun!"

Bai Hei had a weird expression on his face. Coincidentally, they shared the same last name. Many thoughts were running through his mind, such as, 'Is this fate?' 'I'm Bai, she's Bai. We're so similar!' 'If I ask her to marry me, she'll say yes, right?'

These thoughts going through his mind were completely random and ludicrous. While he was thinking, the two young men had a vicious glint in their eyes as they both declared loudly,

"I am Fang Cheng, outer disciple of Blossoming Peach Sect!"

"I am Fang Chen, outer disciple of Blossoming Peach Sect!"

They both sent a glare towards Bai Bingyun, before turning their gaze towards Bai Hei. If this guy interrupted, they both must be acquainted? They walked past Bai Hei as they sneered,

"Trash! A frog trying to eat a swan's meat!"

Bai Hei was left speechless. But he had no one to blame but himself. Why did he walk forward anyway?

He looked at Bai Bingyun and was about to speak, but she spoke before him in her usual elegant but cold voice,

"Thank you. Your name?"

"Bai Hei."

Similarly, she had a weird expression on her face, but her expression was even more weird than his was previously. Her cold facade slowly broke apart, as she had a hint of hope and pain in her eyes,

"Wh-What are you parents' names..?"

Bai Hei wouldn't normally answer this to anyone, but he answered this time,

"Bai Antao was my father's name. Bai Anming was my mother's name."

Suddenly, Bai Bingyun froze, as if she heard something that shocked her soul out of her body. Tears suddenly sprung out from her eyes, rolling down her cheeks.

Watching her cry, Bai Hei for some reason felt pain in his heart too. Unwillingly, tears started to flow out of his eyes too.

Bai Bingyun instantly rushed towards him and wrapped her arms around him, ignoring the mud that was getting onto her robe. Instinctively, Bai Hei hugged her back too. Both of them had tears flowing out of their eyes like waterfalls, nonstop. As they hugged, Bai Bingyun continuously whimpered, "I finally found you.."

The crowd who were watching this scene felt bewildered. What the hell was going on?
