Dark golden sandy texture? Now that I look at it again, the blood does seem to have weakened the purple material substantially. What if I tried scratching away at it?
A few scratches later, it becomes clear that that's definitely not going to work. The sandy texture isn't affected whatsoever, but I guess I can use it as a nail filer. What about the red stuff? The spit seems to have softened the material even further. Scratching at it actually does have a slight amount of effect. There's just one issue. Under the red layer, there's another purple layer...
Breaking or digging into the spike might be useless, but what about the walls or floor? If I've understood this correctly, I'll need to first weaken the purple substance with an offering of blood and then soak it in spit. After that, just scratch and repeat.
I'll try the floor first, since it's easier and less painful to drip blood then to smear on a wall.
Eenie, meenie, minie mo. Catch a tiger by the toe. If he hollers, let him go. Eenie, meenie, minie mo, and, you, are, it. Guess it's my right ring fingers turn to be poked.
Surprisingly or maybe unsurprisingly, the purple floor material reacts just like the spike and starts turning golden wherever blood is dripped.
There are now quite a few options to pick from. There's the four walls with the wall that I came from right behind me. (I'm only about 85% certain since the walls look identical)
There's the spike in the middle of the room, and then there's the floor.
