The Grandfather's Last Will

Fordwyre Alley, Town of Hoverdrive

Meanwhile at the altered Fordwyre Alley, the Grine Hunters, Cait-Siths and the Reapers were getting ready for Thomas to bit the bait they prepared for him. The others fixed an altar like are wherein they placed a n old coffin like the ones from Dracula movies. There were marks of German symbols on the side and a mark on top of the coffin. They call it The Kings Mark. And beyond the altar there was an old cage where Artemis was placed. A cage with cold steel bars and glowing marks in it like a protective barrier where Celestials became weak. Artemis was there like a damsel in distress.

Coach Lee approached the Noble.

"For some reason I haven't seen Celestials for quite around now, you know what? You are the most important part of this game. Like a damsel in distress in a Grimm's Fairy tale" Coach Lee said.

"I'm no Damsel in distress! I don't need a Prince!" Artemis angrily said to Lee while she opened her palms and released a bright light out of it, but the cage repelled the ability and it made no effect on the Grine Leader.

"The Altar is ready master." a Grine reported.

"Good, how about the weapons and the Shadow Blade?"

"It is prepared already." a Cait-Sith on the other hand reported.

"Get ready, we are about to meet someone on the surface area." Coach Lee ordered.

"You are no match for a Shadow Caller. Most especially the one who has not yet controlled his own shadow" Artemis warned the Grine Hunter.

"Never underestimate us Celestial" Jefferson Lee answered back.

The Grine Leader looked at the guards and automatically they electrocuted Artemis, she on the other hand screamed in pain.

"If I were you I will not harm her." The Elder Memorant ones more took the lead of speaking to Lee.

"What now elder?" The Grine exclaimed.

Artemis looked at the Elder very carefully and reminded him someone. The Elder just looked at her and smiled for a bit then back again to the Grine. "This Celestial is part of the prophecy and also do as the will of Shade remember?"

"Will?"

"Yes, a will that states that a blood of the shadow caller shall be shed from his great grandson and that a Celestial who will care or fall for him shall be the one who will give it to him."

"How did you know that?" Artemis asked.

"I am an elder Memorant remember? I am an emissary to him."

"If that's the case then we shall just let this Noble Wicked there? What a rubbish!"

"How stupid you speak to me you stinky old hag?" Artemis insultingly said to Jefferson that made him pissed.

"How dare you speak…"

"Stop!" The Elder angrily shouted. "I've had enough!, Hunter you have a work to do to get this Caller, why waste your time for this nonsense?"

"Well then, Enjoy yourself with her." The Grine Leader said and walked out f the conversation.

The Memorant come in close to Artemis. He observed the young Shifter very carefully, "You look just like your father in the old times. Your eyes."

"How did you know my father?"

"He was my friend, he did great throughout his life, I was a guardian before, his guardian." The Memorant said while he held his staff and showed it to Artemis, there was something written in it.

Vic Storms, Memoria.

"My dad's name? How?"

"He gave me this staff before, he has his blessing written in it. He told me about this prophecy and the Caller, he likes you so much you know, your twin told me that this Caller has a strong determination, he has a strong will. So do his friends. He wanted to sacrifice himself for you did you know that?"

"But I told him not to."

"He knows that, but his friends are right. Prophecies are uncertain possibilities, its just a prediction. No possibilities just probability."

"Whose side are you?" Artemis asked with great confusion.

"I'm on no ones side, I just love to observe the fate of others"

"Because you're a Memorant?"

"No, because I'm still human, I am concerned about people Wicked or not."

"I see you still have some remaining humane in you." Artemis said.

From a distant there were noises, Reapers, Cait-Siths and Hunters rejoicing for their King is about to return. The heat within the place, it felt like a torment from hell. A place with Wicked Cults and Fire. Evilness surrounds the place, wickedness.

Saint and Heston Street, Town of Hoverdrive

On the other side of the wicked world, there walked the four Wickeds ready to rescue the Weird Wicked. On the road while the four were walking there were minimal scatters on the road, junk foods scattered from left to right, children having fun while playing with bubbles, trash bins placed on one side of the road with a poor old man sitting and begging for alms. A normal day for the mundane world, but a quest for the Wickeds.

The three teens followed Miss Finch all the way to the Fordwyre Alley hidden somewhere on Saint and Heston Street.

Fred was bored, he has sweat all over his face, Julie has a hungry stomach it crumble every step she made, but Thomas, he still has a strong will, a strong determination to look for Artemis. He does not care about the pain his foot and nape has, the hunger his stomach has, he still has an eager to fight and find the person who welcomed him in the world of Wickeds.

"Dude, I am so tired." Fred complained.

"I'm hungry." Julie added.

"Maybe we should stop for a while. Thomas?" Miss Finch said. She also felt tired and a bit uneasy for a while because of the pain she still have after an encounter with the Reapers.

"We shouldn't stop looking for her." Thomas insisted.

"We know that dude, but come on, we have to rest. We just fought a group of Reapers and looking for the Alley is a bit hard because it is a dimension…" Fred said

"Fred's right, we should rest, eat and regain our strengths, a prophecy is declared and maybe Jefferson still stick to it. Though he did not know that we won't believe it, we still have to rest." Miss Finch recommended.

"I am still anxious of what can possibly happen to Artemis." Thomas sadly said. "But I guess you're right guys. We should rest, I'm a bit tire too."

All of them agreed on regaining their energy. Miss Finch lead the three to a nearby Cafeteria that stood on the left side of the street near a barber shop and an old structure that can possibly be a store.

On top of the Cafeteria a light has been lit, it was already dawn and there the name of the Cafeteria showed. Hylock n' Chip. The lights that made the name visible still has some bulbs not working on it, the letter H has one bulb broken and the n has a blinking light in it. The three entered the cafeteria, there were chimes when they opened the door, it sounded as if its a heavenly call for the food awaiting for them. The aroma of coffee, chocolate, mocha, burgers and fries smelled all over the place. The rumble on the stomach of the three teens wildly sounded. They turned left and sat on a very comfortable chair with a cushion in it. The menu waiting on the table and view outside the store, a view of the sun setting from the west side of Hoverdrive.

A lady stopped by the table where the four were seated. "May I have your order please." she asked.

"Um, a Burger and Chocolate float for me." Fred rapidly said.

Julie just looked at him disgustedly, "A burger and mocha for me, um, add a sprinkle of chocolate chip on top please." she ordered.

"Ummm, same, burger and fries for me." Thomas said. "Any drinks?" the lady asked. "Just a carbonated water." Thomas answered back.

"I go with a salad, and add mayo in it by the way. And I'll take coffee." Miss Finch on the other just ordered a light meal.

"Okay, three burgers, a Chocolate float, Mocha, Coffee, Fries, Water and Salad coming right up." the lady said and she strolled away to the counter and gave the order to the cashier with a name tag that says. Chip.

Not a few minutes past, about ten. Their order came right up.

The three teens looked at their food like they haven't for years. While Miss Finch just looked at the teens and smiled. They bowed their heads down for a while and prayed. After 15 seconds they dig in and ate together, happily.

In the middle of their meal Thomas went to the rest room and on the given time the remaining three talked together.

"I guess he needs guidance." Julie began to talk then she took a sip on her mocha.

"Guidance? What for?" Fred asked then he burped silently.

"Ew, I meant he needs guidance on becoming a Shadow Caller. What if he got consumed? Not to say, again? Artemis can't shift him back is she's in the cage." Julie concernedly said.

"Julie's right. We need his father." Miss Finch aforesaid.

"How can we call his father if obviously he is scared too." says Fred.

"Well, my Dad might help, or even Quintos right?" Julie suggested.

"Quintos can't…"

After a while someone entered the Cafe, a man in black Trench coat and a hat like those of the classic detective slash mysterious detectives. The man walked close to them. He removed his hat, it's a bit wet, because of the drizzle outside. A familiar face showed before them.

"You don't need to call me if I am here." The man was Mr. Alexander Smith, Thomas' dad. "I knew you would be here, the chimes are designed for incoming Wickeds, and that guy there." He pointed the Cashier. "Chip, he knows me and he heard that you were talking about Wickeds and said a Shadow Caller. He also told me that Fred was here. The Sheriff's son" he added.

"That is insane." Fred dazed, and he then finished his drink.

After a little while Thomas came back and saw his father standing with the three he left.

"Hi, son." Alexander greeted.

"Dad? What are you doing here?"

"I overheard that you needed guidance so I head over, besides you have the rights to be informed." Alexander answered.

Thomas looked at his friends questionably, the two just waved and Miss Finch just smiled and she sipped her coffee.

Thomas really was a beginner when it comes to becoming a Wicked. He needed guidance, he needed to be trained. His face looked worried still about Artemis, and now he needed to be trained. Time, they needed it, though they have a clapper, one clap is not enough. Thomas needed to face his fate, him and him alone that is what his mind is unto now but still he accepted it, for Artemis' sake.
