"Giselle"

Giselle kept walking away with her teary eyes drying out. It looked like it had lost its capacity. Her face turned pale with no more tears except the red eyes from crying. She kept moving, walking away, taking each step as much as she could.

Giselle knew her heart broken down by her decision to walk away from Lillian when she had met her years later. Her love for Lillian turned into pain which consumed her body and mind. She hated it herself, but there's nothing she could do other than walking away from causing any scene.

Soon, she reached far away from Shane's building.

She took the left route and sighed. As if she had escaped the danger, her mind relieved while her heart still ached. She kept walking lifelessly. Her steps now were shorter than before. She lost all of her will to keep moving.

Even with those dry eyes, it shed out another few drops of tears as she flickered her eyes to stop those tears. Even those tears gave her the pain. She wiped out her eyes harshly, forcing them to stop dropping those damn tears. She knew her mistake. And it's enough already that she's regretting her decision. She hated herself but still kept moving her body further away as much as she could when suddenly she felt a chill.

She got crossed by another figure, overtaking her lead. Giselle's body flinched at the scene when she saw this person wheezing down in front of her.

When her dry eyes squinted hard to notice this person, Giselle jerked. She took a few steps back, looking at the person in shock.

It was Lillian Grey.

...

Lillian Grey had chased her down and is now standing in front of her. Her body, the dress is all crumpled looks like she had a hard time running. Giselle's eyes focused on those hands above the knees, down below the ankle had dark red blood stain. Giselle's eyes widened as she let out a single tear. She had never looked Lillian at such a pathetic state. The ever-beautiful and charming Lillian inside Giselle's memories are now visualizing the tired, bruised, and exhausted Lillian.

Giselle didn't know what to do as she stood there waiting for Lillian's action.

Meanwhile, Lillian Grey caught up with Giselle by pushing her limits making her worn out.

It took her a few seconds to catch herself from the exhaustion. Once her breathing became steady, she prepared to lift her head. However, her heart still racing so high, making her feel that it's about to burst.

She lifted her head, and her eyes traced upwards to the sit on Giselle's blue orbs. As soon as she found those blue eyes, it triggered a spark on her brain as she locked her eyes firmly upon Giselle's.

Even on the road now, it felt calm and silent. As both were back on an empty place with nothing and no one around, Lillian's heart still kept racing out loudly that Giselle could easily hear it.

Giselle couldn't come out of the shock that Lillian had chased down on her. They both stayed silent except for Lillian's breath which still needs to calm down. The woman only cared until her high-paced breathing settled. However, it is back to its loud inhale and exhales routine.

With her breathing still hard to manage, Lillian forced her mouth to say out the word.

"GISELLE?" Lillian exclaimed.

The words 'Giselle' coming out from Lillian pierced its way into Giselle's soul and made her respond. It felt like Lillian owned Giselle and her entire self.

Giselle's entire body flinched as she soon as she heard that voice. The familiar voice that she had admired in the past. Her body, mind, and soul reacted as if it was a command. Her shocked eyes turned into a gentle gaze as she looked at Lillian with love and caring.

Seeing her respond the way she used to, in the past, melted Lillian's heart as it slows down on its pace. Her heart calmed down looking at Giselle's caring gaze and very soon, her lips extended to reveal a charming smile.

Seeing Lillian smile and that too for the first time after years, made Giselle remember their sweet times together. Her memories rushed back again when her eyes turned dark soon enough.

Giselle feared to look at Lillian as her guilty took over the sweet memories.

She is now faced with the real situation as she turned her head both sides to notice that they were still outside on the pavement. Giselle's eyes landed on Lillian's hazel brown orbs, she felt herself being drawn towards this woman again, and again.

Soon, she spotted a cab beyond Lillian's figure, approaching towards their direction.

...

Lillian's smile still on while she turned back to see the cab approaching them.

Within the next few seconds, Lillian saw Giselle leaving quickly when the cab stopped. She went ahead, opened the door and threw herself inside the cab and finally signaling him to drive away.

As soon as she sat inside, she could see from the corner of her eye, Lillian's figure remained frozen yet again. This time her eyes didn't trace for Giselle's as it stopped and had become still.

The cab went right after Giselle gave the nod. Lillian stood there, her smile still present on her face as she saw Giselle leaving her once again.

She couldn't understand or figure out the reason behind Giselle's action except that she arrived at a conclusion 'Giselle avoiding Lillian's presence.'

When she realized, her smile vanished as she gulped silently. Her chest felt the pain once again. Her body became unstable as one by one her bruises activated, the blood stain, started dripping down when Lillian's brain immediately shut down, making her faint down on the pavement.

Lillian's body hit the ground, and her eyes took one last glance at the cab Giselle had just left, before closing.

Lillian lost in her battle and fell on the street sidewalk. Before collapsing into unconsciousness, her sweaty lips whispered,

"Giselle"

Lillian Grey's vision shut down into a pitch black screen as she laid down on the street all alone.
