Min’s revenge

Renae wasn't able to rest. She had trouble awaiting her outside of school, and at school. The moment Matthew and Renae reached school, Min approached them shamelessly. "Matt! It's going to be the weekend soon and I'm going to miss you for a long time, so how about we exchange numbers?" Min asked as she grabbed onto Matthew's arm and smiled up at him.

Matthew didn't look at her, he just shook her off and continued walking. Min gritted her teeth. He must be this cold to her because of that annoying peasant, Renae! To Min, Matthew was sinless and Renae was to blame for everything. Honestly, how ridiculous! Min wanted her revenge... so she decided to do take sneaky shots of Renae and put up fake news.

Min took out her phone and took a picture of Matthew and Renae walking into school. After which, she tapped in a number on her phone. It rang for a while before the person on the other side picked up.

"Hello?"

"Mr Ken, I've been bullied in school. You are the best reporter I know, so I have to ask you to follow this bully for a while and get some information I can use to get my revenge on her. Money is not a problem, I might even pay you double. Her name is Renae San. She has brown hair with tinted purple tips," Min briefly explained her reason for calling him.

"I absolutely can not STAND bullying! Your description of how she looks like just screams she is a bully! I will definitely help you, young mistress Min," Mr Ken replied.

After their call, Mr Ken confirmed this "bully" and sent out people to follow her and take pictures of her for a while. Min's revenge did not end there, she dialed another number. This time, it was a woman on the other side of the line. Min greeted the lady and explained her situation the same way she explained it to Mr Ken.

"Mrs Yun, I want my revenge on this bully. So can you please help me? I've gotten someone to take the pictures already. I'll send you the context for each photo when I get them. Mrs Yun, your news source is the most reliable one I know, I always depend on your articles to get information and keep up on the latest news. Please help me get my revenge on this bully and create an article about her bullying tendencies! I'll pay you lots too..."

Mrs Yun readily agreed to it. Preparation for her revenge plan was complete!

Throughout the school day, Min did not follow Matthew around like she usually would. Renae was questioning it, but she definitely enjoyed it.

School ended. Matthew realised someone was tailing them. He drove past Renae house. "Matt? You passed my house... why do you keep looking into the rear-view mirror?" Renae said in confusion. She also looked into the rear-view mirror, but since she was sitting in the passenger's seat, she didn't see anything out of the ordinary, only Matthew could see it from his seat. "Sorry I forgot to ask. How bout' we go for a car ride?" Matthew replied, his leg pressed even harder on the gas.

Renae was still in a state of confusion when she agreed. At a traffic light, Matthew took a picture of the car plate of the car which was following them. That was when Renae realised they were being followed and looked back cautiously every few turns. He circled about a few buildings before he successfully lost them. It took a very long time and only ended when the sun was setting. "How weird. They must be following us because of you, right? After all, this is your car..." Renae wondered aloud. "I'm not sure, to be honest. Just be careful for the next few days, okay?" Matthew wondered. If he ever found out who did this, they were going to pay. Especially if anything were to happen to Renae.

That night, while Renae is relaxing in bed and reading, her phone vibrated. She placed her book down with a bookmark in the page she stopped at and checked her phone.

"Renae, what happened? There's no way this is true, right?" Cathy was the one who had messaged her. Along with the message were a few screenshots.

One was Matthew and Renae walking into the school building together, just that someone edited it and made it look like they were kissing! The second picture was of her and Kaiden by the vending machine, just that, it was also edited to make it look like they were kissing! The second to last photo was of her boarding Matthew's car... just that, they edited Matthew to look like someone else! Last but not least, it was a picture of Matthew's car from when they were trying to get away from the car which was trailing them. They had edited the backdrop into a night one instead of the sunset and changed Matthew's car plate to another one.

The headline for the article was, "High school student, Renae San, does dirty deeds with 3 different men!" And accompanying the edited photos was, "High school student, Renae San, was spotted being intimate with 3 different guys today! The last one being the worst one possible. In the first picture, it might seem they're just a cute high school couple, but in the second picture, it's shown clearly that she's two-timing. Cheating girls are the worse type of girls to ever exist. To be doing this in a public space like the school gates and a school fending machine during break is also extremely inappropriate...."

"And here's the worst part, in the 3rd photo, Renae is seen boarding the car of another man. It would also seem normal at first, but look at the expression of the man in the car! There's no way the two are only friends or family. The same car is then driving towards an expensive apartment in the whee hours of the night. Does Renae secretly have a sugar daddy? Keep in mind, this student is only 18! How could she be such a whore at such a young age?"

When Renae finished the article, her brain was mentally exhausted. Who else could be behind this? It was obviously Min. Luckily, they took a picture of the car which was tailing them, so they could go to the car brand's car dealer and ask who that exact car belonged to.

Renae replied Cathy, "What do you think? Do you trust me enough? I didn't do any of those. They were all edited."
