It's Good to Be a Good Person

What could grow out of tumors? "The Investiture of the Gods" taught us that it could be a humanoid monster, such as Ne Zha who conquered the sea. If this was a horror movie, an alien could be inside, or, if unlucky, even an alien queen who was about to happily lay eggs across the entire planet.

Of course, this was in space. Although Ne Zha, as a mythical story, seemed like an unlikely outcome, aliens were a real possibility. As Lin Chuyin raised her sword, everyone around Hong Dali was on high alert, in case something weird jumped out of the tumor.

Lin Chuyin swung her longsword downwards.

Chi—

A tiny noise was heard. A small incision was made on the tumor almost two feet long. It was strange—once the incision was made, the stench was instantly relieved.

Lin Chuyin expanded the incision until the entire outer skin of the tumor was removed. Surprisingly, there was a piece of pink, soft meat.
