Mission

John just got out of their house and on his way to the Mechanic Shop where he works at. Currently, he is listening to the A.I called Faere who looks like a small fairy on how the app works.

Based on how Faere explained it, the Exorcist app works like those in an in-game settings consisting of Physical Stats a.k.a Character Window, the Mission Board, the Discussion Board, Shop and lastly the Storage where he can take out things.

Listening to what Faere is telling him, he couldn't help but be slack jawed on how incredible this thing is "Holy Shit, is this what they call more fortune within a fortune or.. maybe misfortune??" John thought feeling super excited, not even giving a damn if this truly real, all he knows is that fortune is finally shining upon him!

"This is awe- Ooof!" John was about to shout it excitement but was cut off as he suddenly bump hard onto something that he staggered backwards and landed on his butt.

"Hey kid, watch where you're going and get to work!"

John looked up and saw a burly man that looks like a bodybuilder, with a long scar on his face beginning on the top of his right eye crossing on the middle of his eye till the bottom almost reaching his chin while currently holding a wrench on his hand with oil covered his body and shirt.

"Sorry boss" John gave a dry laugh and slowly stood up while dusting off his pants.

"Alright, get to work kid" the man casually said and went back to what he was doing earlier.

John didn't say anything and just nodded and went to work, fixing bikes, cars and towing them to the shop and would sometimes assist his boss.

By 7 p.m, everything is finally done and they are already preparing to close shop.

"Good job kid" his boss smiled to him, as he handed him his salary for the day which is $20.

John said his thanks and went to get his things before heading home.

Tring! ~

As he was on his way home, he heard a very familiar sound and only then that John remembered something very important, that he even almost forgotten about it because of how hectic today's work is.

John immediately fished out his phone from his pocket and hastily unlocked it and opened the Exorcist app, just as the app finished launching, Faere suddenly appeared on the screen.

"Hey there boss, tonight you first mission is finally here! This mission would determine on what or how much free items you will get it so make sure to do it well, okay?"

"Wait..what?" John said a bit shocked as he wasn't expecting that.

"Your first mission..alright, just go check it out on the mission board and you'll know what I'm talking about" Faere said.

John followed her instructions and opened the Mission Board and in there he saw three sections which are Global Missions and Local Missions.

"Click on the Local Missions" Faere instructed and John followed and he saw a single line of words which read.

John's eyes shined when he saw those words as he immediately clicked on it.

Exterminate the decade Old Evil Spirit that haunts the Old Bakara Cemetery.

Time Limit: Tonight]

"Okaayyy..now how do I do that?" John's word was drawn as he wasn't sure how he will accomplish that.

"Hehe, are you forgetting about me?" he suddenly heard a sweet and tiny voice and when he looked at where the voice is coming, he instinctively tried to swat it with his hand out of fright.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing!?" the small voice yelled and when John got a clearer looked at "it", he saw the figure of Faere fluttering on his wing with a look of anger on her face but in John's eyes she looked cute instead wanted to pinch to her cheeks so bad but refrained from doing so.

"The hell, you can also do this shit!" John said with a raised but surprised voice.

"Of course, don't forget that I'm a Fairy!" Faere said with her head held high, looking proud.

"Wow, so you're actually a Fairy and here I thought you're a virtual assistant" This time John was really amazed and surprised on how magical this thing is, this time he finally even thought that he just dreaming but when he felt on how painful when he pinched his thigh is, he knows that he wasn't dreaming and this all real.

"Who told you that!?" Faere said as she even landed a punch on his face but all John felt was nothing.

"Well, "you were" inside my phone...right?" John said with a raised brow.

"Hmmp! Enough of this, just click on the Storage on your phone, there should be something there for you to use to finish tonight's quest" Faere snorted.

"Alright alright, no need to be that angry" John's smile look silly because he is super curious at what items he will get.

John out of excitement clicked on the logo of the wooden sword and it suddenly appeared on his hand.

"This...aaawesome! Cool!" John was really jumping like crazy while waving the sword in the air.

"Alright, no need to be that surprised, you can explore how the app works by yourself and make sure to check on your Physical Stats, alright? I'm going back now" Faere just smiled at his silliness as she turned into a beam light that went inside his phone.

"Wait, so you're just leaving me here hanging?" John said with a look of anger but deep inside him, he was so happy that he just wanted to dance in joy on how lucky he is but he refrained from doing so, talking to himself is already bad enough what more if people saw him dancing on middle of the road like a lunatic?

So John just did what Faere told him, exploring the intricacies of the Exorcist app and from what he found out.

His Physical Stats only records his Name, Age, Rank, Cultivation Realm, Spirit Points and Money. On the Discussion Board, he saw a lot of people talking there, like a chat group where they ask questions about their problems, selling and buying items and even asking if there suitable haunted places where they can hunt high level evil spirits even demons are included etc.

Lastly the Marketplace, just as its name says, it's the place where you can purchase items using Real Money or Spirit Points, ranging from weapons like Demon Hunting Guns, a variety of Swords and there's even holy swords like the Excalibur in it and last but not the least the Consumables like health potions, strengthening potions which is use for strengthening the body to become tough and most of all there's even a Demon Sealing Orb which is use for capturing all kinds of Spirits including Demons and what makes these orbs special is, once a spirit is captured, that spirit will become your companion that will listen to your commands no matter how powerful that spirit was before. The orbs are divided in Ranks, Common, Rare, Mythical and Legendary, the higher the rank of the orb is, the higher the chances of capturing the desired Spirit.

"I hope everything would go well tonight" John sighed with a scared look just imagining that he will come face to face with a Evil Spirit or Ghost, after all he's a scaredy cat towards this kind of things.

John just shook his head and made a dash towards home.
