They never expected the Blue Luan Clan and Vermilion Bird Clan to reconcile with the Fire Phoenix Clan with the long-standing enmity. After all, the Fire Phoenix Clan had slaughtered their people, including their fourth inheritors, causing the two clans to decline that one was forced to garner the protection of the Aurora Cloud Gate while the other had hidden itself in a pocket realm, only daring to show themselves out from time to time.

The ones who hid in a pocket realm were naturally the Vermilion Bird Clan since they were the aggressors who attacked the Fire Phoenix Clan first and failed to obtain protection from any power when they were losing. Since they didn't have reason with them, the Aurora Cloud Gate naturally didn't grant them asylum in the past as they did for the Blue Luan Clan.
