Long Yang kept repeating his routine of cultivating nonstop, and by saving up his monthly allowance each time he got it, over the time of two years, he amassed a grand total of… about a thousand five hundred silver taels.

Over the span of two years, Long Yang reached the 9th qi gathering stage along with clearing out his eleventh meridian. Long Yang had just begun working towards clearing his twelve and final primary meridian albeit at a snail's pace.

Long Yang decided to take the day off and head to the Glory Sun Merchant Hall to act on a plan of his. Long Yang took out a small box hidden underneath his bed and opened it, sitting inside was a wad of shiny, silver notes. He took them out and carefully placed it in his robe before leaving the clan.

As he was leaving the entrance of the clan, the doorman smiled and saluted to Long Yang, "Are you going out, Young Master? You don't go out very often, is there a special occasion?"

Long Yang shook his head, "I just feel like going for a stroll, there's nothing really happening. I'll be going now."

The doorman looked at Long Yang's back as he got farther and farther away, 'Was it last year when the Young Master left the clan to go outside? He sure is hard working, I wonder what he's up to.'

Long Yang headed east, shortly arriving at a grand looking building. On top of the door was a plaque that said, 'Glory Sun'. Long Yang pushed open the door and walked in.

He was greeted with a soothing atmosphere, golden light shone from the ceiling lights. People were browsing items inside glass cases and shelves. Attendants stood around, conversing with and assisting the customers. Long Yang stared in awe as he had never seen such a sight before. He spent his previous life mostly in the noodle shop and most of his current one cultivating at home.

A middle-aged man dressed differently from the rest of the attendants spotted Long Yang and walked over. He saluted with a smile, "Hello, Long Clan Young Master, I am the manager of this branch, Gong Sun, what brings you to our humble hall?"

Long Yang snapped out from his daze, his face blushing slightly, "I-I'm here to buy some items. Any spirit herbs or spirit fruits?"

Gong Sun raised an eyebrow, slightly confused by the youngster's request but he quickly masked his confusion with a smile, "Of course we have spirit herbs and spirit fruits, we have a few on display but the rest are in our warehouse where we keep most of our stock. We have a catalog for natural treasures that you can look through."

Gong Sun took out a book and handed it over to Long Yang. Long Yang flipped through the book with a serious face but inside, he was sweating, 'I don't know which one I should get, thankfully there's a description of each item.'

"I'll take three hundred-year-old ginsengs and a Fiery Yang fruit." Long Yang said as he handed the catalog back to Gong Sun.

Gong Sun took the catalog back, "three hundred-year-old ginsengs cost nine hundred silvers and a Fiery Yang fruit costs four hundred silvers. That comes up to a total of a thousand three hundred silvers, but for you, you only need to pay a thousand one hundred silvers."

Long Yang smiled at the sudden discount but his smile quickly turned into a frown, "Mmm… No, it's fine, I'll pay the full price." Long Yang took out the wad of silver notes from his robe. He counted out twenty-six notes before handing them over to Gong Sun.

Gong Sun smiled wryly as he accepted the money, "Ok, do you want them delivered to the Long clan or do you want them immediately?"

Long Yang said, "Immediately, I'll take them back myself."

Gong Sun walked away, returning quickly with two boxes, one small and one medium sized, "the three ginseng are in the bigger box and the Fiery Yang fruit is in the smaller box."

Long Yang took the boxes in his hand and thanked Gong Sun before he left, returning to the clan.

Gong Sun sighed after Long Yang left the hall, 'Favors don't come cheap… too bad he didn't accept the two hundred silver discount. A favor from someone with a Mystic Tier spirit soul for two hundred silvers is just too good to be true, huh...'
