Murky feelings

'Liuyun' didn't know what to do, he didn't know about Feng Hanyan at all and who she was. Feng Hanyan was shocked seeing the appearance of 'Liuyun' she wanted to hug him in happiness but something stopped her as if her instinct was rejecting the Liuyun right in front of her.

"Liuyun..."

Feng Hanyan called out his name gently, 'Liuyun' did not know who she was but still smiled back at her, afraid to hurt her feelings. 'What is this feeling of heartache in my chest...' His chest pounded hard just matching eyes with her, Feng Hanyan's every look made him worry if he had something weird on him. 'Liuyun' clutched his hand tightly and quickly jumped off the ape, escaping into the forest.

"Liuyun?!'

Seeing how quickly 'Liuyun' ran from her, Feng Hanyan exclaimed out in shock and was stunned for a while before she immediately chased after him. But, when she entered the forest, she lost him already.

Feng Hanyan stamped her feet in a fit and pouted.

"Muu!! Where did that Liuyun go?! Why did he leave me there like that!"

Meanwhile... The person in question

"Damn it! What's wrong with me?!"

'Liuyun' who was unused to such feelings couldn't help but end up cursing inwardly, his face flushed and he had an embarrassed look. It was completely different from the normally cool yet determined Liuyun, it was... A delicate Liuyun.

He sat down behind a tree, hidden from anyone and safe from monsters. 'Liuyun' closed his eyes and pondered for a moment, everything just seemed so unreal... Suddenly, his head started to hurt and he fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

"Ugh! Damn! The moron is awake huh... Fine... I will talk to him later once my soul energy is better."

'Liuyun' fell to the ground, and he fainted. A few moments later, he woke up once more and looked around where he was.

"Ugh... Where am I? I wasn't eaten by the Longevity Ape?..."

Liuyun finally returned back to his body, his mind was in a mess and he stood up wobbling. His last memory was him unleashing in bloodline and then the next thing he knew, he was here alone.

"Liuyun! Where are you!"

Feng Hanyan's voice suddenly resounded out in the forest and Liuyun immediately stopped thinking, he jumped out in front of her, startling the young girl. Initially, she was ready to fight to the death with the figure that jumped out but seeing it was Liuyun, she was speechless.

Just a while ago he ran away from her, now he actually popped out in front of her on his own accord? She really didn't understand Liuyun at all sometimes. Liuyun wondered why Feng Hanyan looked at him curiously as if it was the first time seeing him, he couldn't help but grab her hands to check her pulse to feel if there was anything wrong with her.

"Ah?! Liuyun what are you doing?!"

Suddenly being grabbed by Liuyun, Feng Hanyan was startled and quickly she turned awkward as she questioned Liuyun. Liuyun showed a dumbfounded face at her before he questioned her.

"What am I doing? I'm just checking your pulse, all doctors do this to determine a patient's illness… You were acting weird so I thought that you weren't feeling well so I wanted to cure you."

"Ah? That's all?"

Liuyun nodded his head, which in turn made Feng Hanyan completely embarrassed. She misunderstood the intentions of Liuyun even though she been with him for so long.'So it was like that, looks like this is the Liuyun I know, eh? But why did he run away from me earlier?'

Feng Hanyan wanted to ask him as well but Liuyun suddenly collapsed on the floor, Feng Hanyan' face paled and she rushed up to him checking his condition. She checked that Liuyun was fatigued from using too much Nature energy, once she was sure that Liuyun was safe, she sighed in relief before chuckling in happiness.

'He is acting like a little child now... Oh, Liuyun…"

She rested Liuyun's head on her laps and gave him a forehead peck, after doing so, she set up a barrier formation and went to sleep herself. It has been a long day for them, they fought through a monster herd; fought the Longevity Ape(Mostly Liuyun, she was deconstructing the barrier.)

"Damn! They actually survived!"

Unknown to them, there was still a figure hidden behind them watching their every move. Seeing how peaceful they were he wanted so badly to just go up there right now to kill them, yet due to reasons he couldn't. That person was Wo Zhao Ni, he didn't leave but actually watched the entire scene play out before him.
