On the other side of town, Orion was performing a hit and run tactic on the marines trying to gather all their attention on him.

[Why does my heart feel so anxious all of a sudden?]

Whilst running from the Marines he reached inside his pocket and took out a small piece of white paper with Roman's name.

It was the vivre card connected to Roman, they both had one for the other so that no matter how far away they were they'd know the other's alright!

As he looked down at the small piece of paper he saw the paper was still intact, but Orion still had a bad feeling.

BANG!

Hearing a sudden gunshot in the distance he turned to look in that direction with a frown before looking back down at the vivre card in his hand.

"ROMAN!!"

Orion immediately turned around, gathered all the wind he could and channelled it all beneath his feet and shot in the direction the vivre card was pointing.

He was so fast that barely any of the marines could keep sight of him, in fact Smoker who just arrived was the only person who could barely make out his blurry figure.

The rest could only feel a gale pushing them over as he dashed passed them.

Orion's mind went blank when he saw Roman's vivre card dwindling.

[Roman, please don't die!]

Orion only took a couple of minutes to arrive at the docks, but when he did he was in utter shock at what he saw.

Roman was stood shielding Hancock with his body from Jalmack. His body had 4 bullet holes and he was losing blood rapidly, but he was still stood straight. He even had a smile on his face.

Vergo was stood just behind Jalmack with his clothes in tatters and a few bruises but no major injuries. When Orion arrived, Vergo was the first to notice. He couldn't help but frown at the arrival of this young man.

[That should be the kid who defeat Smoker!]

Just as Vergo was eyeing Orion, Orion made his move.

Without hesitation, Vergo grabbed hold of Jalmack and jumped 20 meters back.

Orion didn't chase after them, in fact he didn't even look at them. His complete attention was on Roman. There was no visible emotion on his face, but tears were streaming down from his eyes.

When Orion appeared in front of him, Roman looked down at the one he thought of as his brother. He tried to speak but ended up coughing blood instead.

Orion didn't speak a word to him, he merely lay him down gently with his hands resting on Roman's chest above his heart as he circulated the Heavenly Demon Sacred Art channelling it into Orion's body.

When Roman's heart felt Orion's qi, it began to pump it through his body. As the Orion's Qi was circulated through Roman's body, Roman felt a warm current spreading through him and his smile widened as tears started falling down his face.

He recognised that warm energy as Orion's qi. Over a year ago, after Orion realised that he could increase the speed of his healing with his qi, he figured out how to do the same for Roman.

Seeing as Roman was feeling a little better he stopped channelling his qi into him. He knew that Roman was still in a bad way but he couldn't afford to use anymore qi in their current situation and despite his lack of medical skill, after training with Roman over the past 2 years he was confident Roman wasn't in immediate danger of dying.

Finishing with Roman he focused his attention on Hancock.

When Hancock saw his eyes, she felt a coldness the likes of which she had never felt before. She couldn't help but subconsciously take a step back out of fear. As she stared into his eyes she felt like she was staring into dark abyss that threatened to devour her whole.

Orion's emotionless voice woke her from her dazed state.

"What happened?"

Even though Orion's voice sounded emotionless, that was only on the surface. She could feel a burning rage that was threatening to come out and destroy everything in its sights.

She didn't dare to hesitate. She told Orion the whole story without leaving out a single detail.

When he heard the story, everyone present was surprised by his reaction.

He burst out laughing.

Eventually he stopped laughing as he looked down at Roman who was barely conscious and said softly.

"Idiot!"

As he said that he closed his eyes, stood up and turned around.

Seeing him face them Vergo spoke up.

"Kid, I know your angry about what happened to your friend but don't do something you'll regret. This is Saint Jalmack, one of the celestial dragons… If you offend him, you'll face the full wrath of the world government and no matter how impressive you are, you'll stand no chance at survival!"

Orion had his eyes closed right throughout Vergo's little speech. Seeing a child no older than 10 ignoring him when he was trying to warn him angered Vergo greatly. Just as he was about to speak again a terrifyingly sharp energy surged fourth from Orion's body. When he sensed the energy coming from him you could see the shock painted on Vergo's face.

[Sword Intent?! How did a 10 year old brat manage to breakthrough to the swordsman boundary?!]

As a high ranking marine Vergo knew the various boundaries for swordsmanship and what they stood represented. His mind flashed back to a conversation with a certain vice admiral who was regarded as the strongest swordsman in the marines:

"If breaking through to the Sword Student boundary was all about adjusting your state of mind then a Swordsman needs to use that state of mind to comprehend their sword intent.

By that I mean, to become a Sword Student you need to have unwavering confidence in yourself, but to become a Swordsman you need to completely understand the intentions behind why you draw your sword.

Those intentions vary from person to person, for some it's to protect what's important and for others it could be for revenge, there are even some who draw their sword out of pure love for the way of the sword.

But regardless of their reasons, once they breakthrough to that boundary they become a truly formidable warrior who are able to generate sharp energies with the swing of a sword. That energy is commonly referred to as Sword Qi but to a real swordsman it's referred to as Sword Intent!"

With his eyes still closed, Orion reached for the katana on his hip. When he had a firm grasp on it a horrifying killing intent pressed down on both Vergo and Jalmack. It was then that Orion opened his pitch black eyes.

Feeling that terrifying killing intent and seeing that he was looking at him, Jalmack fainted out of fear, but before his body even hit the ground a blue crescent blue shaped energy wave shot towards him.

The killing intent that emanated from Orion caught Vergo by surprise, distracting him from his task. As a result, by the time he snapped out of his daze he could only watch the blue sword light helplessly as it cut Saint Jalmack in half.

As the 2 halves of Jalmack's body hit the ground, Orion's indifferent voice brought everyone back from their shock.

"You should've just killed him! If an admiral came, then we'd have faced them together!"
