Hatsume's Greatest Invention! Overdrive: Mode Three, Father & Daughter Teamwork!

All Might helped me get to Hatsume's workshop, he knocked on the door and within seconds it flew open.

"Hey, hey! What brings you two here?" Hatsume asked.

I took off my wraps, "Well, I was wondering if you could help me out with my eyes."

"Ah, I see. Do you need laser beams or something? I've got load of babies that can help out with that!" She giddily replied.

"Oh, no. I just need to be able to see without hurting my eyes. That's why I had those wraps on." I told her.

"Hmmm... This might be a toughie! Luckily, you've come to the right gal!" She proudly boasted.

I had to sit there in her workshop while she measured and worked on whatever gadget she was creating.

[A Couple Hours Later...]

"Aaaaand, done! These babies should work wonders!!" She shouted.

I woke up from my much needed nap as she walked over to me. She opened her hands.

"Contact lenses?" I questioned as she showed me her creation.

"Not just ANY ole' contact lenses! Try 'em on!" Hatsume beamed.

I put them on and everything was much clearer!

"Now, blink twice!" She instructed.

I did just that, and I saw her Heat Energy!

"Woah! Incredible! I don't know how you did it, but this just turned our chances from 0 to 100! I could just kiss you, Hatsume! Thank you so much!" I beamed.

"Oh? What do you mean?" Hatsume asked.

I told her about how my daughter from the future came here to ask for help, and how Ernesh followed her through the portal she came out of. I also told her about Mabel's time and how he's destroyed half of Japan.

"Oh, wow! That sounds interesting. I've got a question for you, by the way." Hatsume nodded.

"Oh, what is it?" I replied.

"I want to help out! There's so many babies I wanna test out!" She bubbled.

As much as I wanted to be opposed to it, we needed as much help as possible.

"Well, sure! We need the help." I told her.

She jumped up and down with excitement, "YES!!! FINALLY!!!"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" Hatsume exclaimed.

"Hey, don't mention it! I kind of figured you'd ask me that." I chuckled.

I walked back towards the dorms and I was stopped by everyone.

"Alyx, do you need me to help you in?" Momo asked.

I shook my head as I took my wraps off, "Nah, I'm fine actually."

"Wait! Alyx, the sun's still out!" Kaminari warned me.

I opened my eyes and looked at the sky, "Seems pretty fine to me."

I looked back at everyone else and they stared in awe.

"I'm back in action, baby!" I exclaimed.

"Does this mean..." Mabel started to grin.

I nodded, Momo and Mabel ran over to me and hugged me. They almost knocked me over!

"Are you serious? This is great!" Momo smiled.

"Hee hee! Yep! All thanks to Hatsume, I can actually use my Quirk to its full potential again!" I confirmed with excitement.

As we went back inside, everyone told me about Ernesh. He simply just wanted to fight Mabel and I, I'm not sure why just us, but we'd be dumb to go alone.

"He's actually giving you time to train, about a few days. The cocky bastard must think he's untouchable or something." Bakugo grumbled.

"Well, we shouldn't sit here and wait then. I suggest we all take him up on his offer while we have the chance. Mr. Aizawa's called off classes until this guy's done, right?" I stretched my arms.

"Yeah, but Alyx, at 60% I only managed to rough him up just a bit. What good is another 10% or 15% going to do?" Deku asked.

I could tell that everyone was tense, there's no sugarcoating this situation whatsoever.

"Listen, I'm going to be blunt here, none of us will hurt him. Majorly, that is. But that extra bit of training can help our chances of winning by a long-shot!" I spouted inspiration.

"We're doomed, aren't we?! Just give it to us straight, Mabel!" Mineta whined.

Mabel shook her head, "Mineta, we aren't doomed. It's just..."

I could tell Mabel was struggling, I hate seeing everyone like this.

"I don't know, maybe we are doomed." Mabel sighed.

I decided to head outside to think. Were we really in over our heads with this? Was Ernesh just wanting us to better ourselves just so he could kill us instantly? As I was in deep thought, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hellllooooo? Anyone in there?" Hatsume wondered.

"Oh, Hatsume! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I came to drop off this!" She grinned.

She held her hand out and showed me a small case. She opened it and inside was some sort of syringe filled with a familiar looking liquid.

"Hatsume, isn't this that Quirk Enhancing Drug?" I wondered.

"Nope! I came up with this baby to stunt Ernesh's Quirk!" She proudly claimed.

"Wait, hold on, what?! You know his Quirk? How?" I questioned.

"Well, after I heard about what happened today, I decided to go snoop around! I found him and figured out his Quirk all thanks to this baby right here." She took off the gadget that was on her head.

"W-Wow... I really don't know what to say. Thank you so much, Hatsume! I don't know what any of us would do without you!" I told her.

"Really? You think so? I think I'm gonna cry!" Hatsume started tearing up a bit.

I laughed and shook my head, we walked inside the dorms, "Everyone! I think we just found our key to beating Ernesh!"

[A Few Days Later...]

The day finally came. Today was the day that Ernesh was going down!

"Momo, I want you to have this." I gave her the syringe Hatsume made.

"Alright, I'm assuming this stops his Cellular Regeneration, right?" She asked.

I nodded and we all continued to get closer and closer to Ernesh. Ernesh had his back facing us, he turned his head and smiled.

"Ah, so you all did show up! You had me thinking you chickened out. Endeavor! It's a pleasure to see you again!" Ernesh grinned.

"So, what's the deal here? Are you taking us on one at a time or what?" Endeavor asked.

Ernesh smiled at him, "Of course, as long as you stay out of the fight, I won't have to engage all of you. But regardless, one of you is starting first."

Ernesh pointed to Mabel and I, we both looked at each other, "Dad, I'll go first. You need to-"

"No, I will. If anything, it seems like he's been eager to fight me since we first met." I interrupted.

I looked back at Ernesh and stepped forward.

"Alright, Ernesh. You'll be fighting me first!" I exclaimed.

"Wonderful! Let's make this a good one... Shall we?" He menacingly smiled.

In a flash, Ernesh fired off some type of finger beam move.

I only had enough time to get into Mode One to protect myself as I held my arms up to guard against his attack.

"D-Dad!" I heard Mabel shout.

I felt my guard start to break.

"GRAAAAAAAH!!!" I shouted as I burst the attack back.

My Quirk radiated more and more heat, "HAAAAAAAAH...!!! RAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"

I roared as I went into Mode Two at full power. I looked at Ernesh and he smirked. I rushed him and we collided forearms, I jumped back and we darted towards each other. Every punch I threw he countered, and I did the same. I threw a punch and he grabbed my arm.

"Hey, you're not doing so bad. This is definitely better than last Leonidus I fought!" He shouted.

I threw another punch and hit him in the jaw. I got him off balance and immediately started my rush of strikes!

"DORARARARARA!!!" I shouted.

My fists rattled off of him, sounding like a minigun with each impact! Ernesh somehow broke out of my Dorarara Rush and started countering my blows! He was actually matching up with my speed! We took to the air, zipping around while still engaged in our fast-paced combat! He somehow got behind me and elbowed my back. I went flying down into the ground, luckily, I rebounded by backflipping away from him. He went straight into the ground, but it didn't seem to have phased him! I wiped some dirt off my face.

"This is pretty fun, Alyx. Don't you think?" Ernesh yelled to me.

"I'm surprised that you haven't gone after anyone besides me." I responded.

"Well, I am a man of my word, you know..." Ernesh muttered.

I smiled at him, Ernesh charged towards me, I ducked his punch and swept his legs out from underneath him. Ernesh retaliated with a kick of his own which sent me into the air! Ernesh appeared behind me and hit my back. I was sent back down into the ground, which I immediately shot a Flash Cannon out at him! I exploded it, which most of Ernesh's left side of his body was gone! In seconds, he regenerated it! I looked at him and smiled. Ernesh smiled back at me.

We clashed in the air again, reappearing in one place, and then another! We landed back down onto the ground firing off energy blasts at each other. I managed to trick him with an afterimage as he hit it with one of his energy blasts. I kicked the base of his neck, but he grabbed my leg and threw me forward! I stood back up and looked at him. I wiped blood from my mouth and smiled again.

I charged towards Ernesh, zipping left and right while moving forward. Ernesh shot out a spread shot of energy blasts, I knocked one away from me. I jumped into the air and activated Boost Fire! I darted back down foot first and kicked him in the jaw. It almost took his head off! He tried to punch me with his right arm, but I blocked it with my forearm, I spun and kicked him away from me. I put my hands to my side, and my Overdrive rushed into my hands, I appeared in front of him. Ready to strike!

"HAAAAH!!!" I shouted.

I fired a Kamehameha right in front of him! All that was left of him was his bottom half. I stepped backwards away from him. His upper half quickly regenerated. Ernesh grinned at me and brushed himself off.

"Having fun yet? I have to say, you have my respect, Alyx. Not many people have been able to keep up with me. As a matter of fact, I destroyed a different you in about 3 minutes!" Ernesh boasted.

I smiled at him, "You can say that. Maybe if I wasn't fighting for the world right now, I'd have a lot more fun. You sure do know a lot about me, Ernesh. I can see why you took the other versions of me out, you're an amazing fighter!"

I looked over at Mabel, then back at him.

"Hmm, I thank you! Now, I have a favor to ask from you, I want you to show me your FULL power. You definitely seem much stronger than the other Leonidus'!" He shouted to me.

I nodded, "Alright, here goes!"

I got into a charge up position.

"HAAAAAAAAAH!!!" I roared as I begun to charge up.

The area around us began to shake, and the various pieces of rocks and pebbles starting flying upwards. My aura began to intensify and grow higher! I was looking at Ernesh dead in his eyes, the look of fear and excitement fell over him!

"T-This power...!" He muttered.

"HURAAAAAHH!!!" I yelled.

I let out all of my power into my Mode Two and stood there silently, the wind was blowing around me violently! The steam that resonated off my body was crazy! I never went full power before!

"I-Is that... your power?" Ernesh stuttered.

"Seems like you're scared, are you sure you wanna keep going?" I asked with a smirk.

Ernesh stumbled back a bit, "As if I'd quit! I asked you to display your power to me, why would I quit fighting? I knew what to expect, I just didn't think it be on this scale!"

I deactivated my Quirk and exhaled.

"Dad? What are you doing?" I heard Mabel ask.

I looked behind me and then back at Ernesh.

"Sorry, but I'm throwing in the towel for now." I announced.

"WHAT?!?!" I heard everyone shout from behind me.

"Oh? How come? I thought you liked fighting strong opponents?" Ernesh wondered.

"Well, to be honest, I don't think I can beat you. You're definitely head and shoulders above me right now. Probably because I haven't found a way to beat you, IF there is one." I fed his ego.

Ernesh nodded at me, "I see. Go ahead, choose the next person I'll fight against. Hopefully they'll make it as good as ours."

I walked back over to everyone else. They all looked confused and awestruck.

"Amnesia, what in the fuck are you doing? You and him were evenly matched!" Bakugo scowled.

"It's alright, I've got a plan. Don't worry." I reassured.

I looked at everyone, who would I pick? Logically, Mabel would be our best bet, but what about everyone else? Bakugo could probably do some serious damage, but I think Ernesh would easily adapt to his style of fighting. From what Deku told me, he wouldn't really be able to do much to him. Momo's holding that syringe, so she can't fight without having to worry about breaking the syringe. Hatsume doesn't have any combat experience outside of the Sport Festival from last year, and everyone else doesn't look too thrilled to fight Ernesh.

"Alright, Mabel. You're up next!" I announced proudly.

"Okay, I'll do my best!" She nodded.

She walked towards Ernesh and the fight was on! Mabel was doing extremely well against Ernesh, she had him on the ropes a couple of times! I could tell that he was getting more and more frustrated, which didn't bode well for any of us. Mabel slid back on the ground and both her and Ernesh were breathing heavily.

"Okay... I see now, I won't have to hold back! Excalibur Four!" Ernesh grinned.

He charged at Mabel with an energy sword! She dodged every swing that he threw at her, but she tripped and Ernesh was about to stab her! I activated Mode Two and quickly stood in front of her.

"D-DAD!!" She shouted.

"Oh my, it seems someone's interfered. How unfortunate!" He grunted as he tossed me aside.

I hit the ground hard, but I stood back up, "I thought... Y-You said that this was a fight... Not a slaughter..."

"Well, I never SAID it was a fight. I said I wanted to fight all of you one at a time, but it seems to me that that rule has been broken." Ernesh replied.

"Well, how about you take on both of us then!" Mabel shouted.

I walked next to Mabel and we stared down Ernesh.

"Go on. Amuse me." He smirked.

We activated our Quirks and began to charge up!

"HYAAAAAAAAAH...! HEYAAAAAHHHHH...!!! HURRAAAAAAH!!!" We roared as we were going full power!

"BOOST FIRE!!!" Mabel yelled.

As I was charging, I felt something in me start to change, almost like a raging fire begging to be let out!

"Always remember, if you ever feel a spark of hope in you. Let it out!" I remembered my Father say.

I remembered something again!

"Ernesh... I-I swear... I promise... F-For the safety of E-Earth... WE'LL DEFEAT YOU!!!" I opened my eyes and my Overdrive burst out!

"NRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" I roared at the top of my lungs.

"AAAAARRRRRAAAAHHHH!!!" I screamed.

My Overdrive exploded! I felt way stronger! Was this... Mode Three?!

"You want amusement? Well, you've found it!" I yelled to him.

We stood there in silence, the pressure that came off of both of us practically blew away whatever debris was nearby! Some of the nearby rock formations were cracked or destroyed too! Mabel and I rushed towards Ernesh, hitting him with rapid-fire strikes and kicks!

"DORARARARARA!!" We were shouting while attacking him, we were overwhelming him and we hit him with a combination fist. He went flying across the valley!

"Stardust Shoot: Nebula Rain!!!" Mabel and I shouted.

We practically tore through Ernesh with our combined attack, smoke and dust covered the area where Ernesh was. We stopped our attack after a couple minutes and stood there and waited, we saw him. He was full of holes and seemed to be shaking.

"Y-You... H-How..." He croaked.

He slowly regenerated, "You almost had me there. I'd have to hand it to you, you're the only ones who've managed to make me nervous."

"It seems we did more than just that, Ernesh." Mabel smirked.

"Yes, that's true. But however, that just means that I won't have to hold back anymore!" He shouted.

Ernesh created a huge bright red ball of energy!

"Prepare... To die!!" He said as he launched the attack at us.

It came at us fast and we tried to stop it. But right before we could do anything, it hit us and exploded, I blacked out.

[A Couple Hours Later...]

I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of thunder, "D-Dad... Are you... Okay...?"

I struggled to get up, we were in a pretty large crater!

"M-Mabel..." I wearily muttered.

"I-I know... W-We... We need to do that one thing... We talked about." She replied.

I sent a message to Iida, "Iida, once I give the signal, I want you to grab Momo and run away as fast as you can."

"Alyx? You're alive? Thank goodness. Alright, I'll wait for your signal." Iida responded.

I looked over at Mabel and nodded.

"Alright... L-Let's do it." We put one of our hands into the air.

I heard Ernesh yell, "GAH!! Creati... W-What did... What did you do?!"

Momo did it! She got him with the syringe from what it sounded like. Mabel and I slowly lifted off of the ground. I felt more and more energy store into our greatest move! We locked eyes with Ernesh as we rose from the crater. We created an Overdrive Bomb! It was huge, bigger than the one I made against Shigaraki!

"IIDA! NOW!!" I shouted and Iida zoomed in.

He picked Momo up and carried her away.

"TAKE THIS!!!" Mabel and I yelled in unison.

We sent the Overdrive Bomb towards Ernesh and it hit him!

"Where's the boom?" I wondered.

Then, my question was answered, Ernesh was holding it back! We tried our best to send it into him but it just wasn't working!

"W-What now?!" Mabel shouted.

"We send this asshole to hell, that's what!" I replied.

She already knew what to do, and we backed up from the Overdrive Bomb.

Mabel put out one of her hands, "Ka... Me... Ha... Me..."

She then fired off her energy blast using her unbroken right arm.

"HAAA!!!" She roared as her energy beam connected with the Overdrive Bomb!

I put my hands over her hand, "HAAA!!!"

I magnified the blast! He was still holding it back!

"Running out of options?!" I heard Ernesh shout.

"M-Mabel, keep holding on! I've got one more trick..." I reassured her.

I output more of my Overdrive and roared, "TIMES TEN!!!!"

The energy beam grew even larger and the Overdrive Bomb rammed right into Ernesh!

"MABEL, NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!!!" I yelled.

Mable reeled back her arm and screamed, "GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

A gigantic wave of Overdrive washed over Ernesh as the Overdrive Bomb drilled into him! The Overdrive Bomb completely overwhelmed him! He went flying into the air along with it, and it exploded, incinerating him in the process. We landed on the ground and I looked around, everyone was doing alright! Where was Bakugo though? Mabel and I helped everyone out, and I heard something that I didn't expect to hear.

"K-Kacchan... He's..." Deku didn't finish his sentence. I already knew what he was going to say.

"Bakugo saved you, Deku. I..." Uraraka was choked up, trying not to cry.

I slowly walked over to Deku and looked at Bakugo. I still had hope, even though I already knew the obvious, that he was still alive. I got on my knees and I was going to put my ear on his chest when I felt a hard smack on the top of my head.

"YEOUCH!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" I yelled as I rubbed the top of my head.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR MAKING US THINK THAT YOU DIED, SHIT HEAD AMNESIA!" Bakugo yelled back.

I guess I understood why he did that. As I walked back over to Mabel, she was healing Momo's injuries. Mabel pulled out a device and dusted it off.

"Whew, glad this thing didn't get destroyed!" She smiled.

I looked at it, "What's that?"

"Oh, this is how I got here, Mrs. Iida and her daughter made it for me." Mabel responded.

Oh? Mrs. Iida? I guess I shouldn't ask. She hit the button and a portal opened up.

"Well, this is goodbye, Mom and Dad. Thank you so much!" She smiled.

"Bye! Come back anytime you want!" Momo grinned.

We waved at Mabel and she waved back as she faded into the portal.

"Wow, that was an experience. I never thought I'd meet my own daughter!" I exclaimed.

Momo put her head on my shoulder, "Yeah, I'm wondering something though."

"Oh? What's that?" I asked.

She looked up at me and grinned, "Why is she so short?"

I laughed and shook my head, I guess we'll never know! We got back to the dorms at around 11 PM, we all were exhausted.

"Eiji... Remind me to not wake up until like, tomorrow." Mina wearily told him.

"Any time in particular or...?" Kirishima asked.

Mina just smiled at him, "Tomorrow."

We laughed as we all got ready for bed. I stood on Momo's balcony looking out towards the moon.

"So, are you still trying to take everything in?" Momo wondered.

"Yeah, I guess so. That whole thing was just so unreal." I answered.

I looked over at her, she had a book in her hands.

"Speaking of that, didn't you say you wanted me to read something with you?" I asked.

Momo gasped with excitement, "I never thought you'd ask! I have loads of stuff we can read!"

"Good grief... You're something else, you know?" I laughed.

She laughed with me and nodded. All was well, yet again!
