Endurance Training: Swimming Contest! Killing the Symbol of Peace?!

"Hey, Leonidus-san! Kaminari-kun invited me to do some endurance training at the school's pool today, you wanna come with?" Deku wondered.

"Oh, I'd love to! Do you mind if I invite others as well?" I agreed.

"I don't think they'll mind, we're doing it right after school, I think Mr. Aizawa has swimming gear for us." He replied.

I nodded at him, I should ask Momo if she wants to do this endurance training as well, it'll definitely help out with this training camp we're going to. I found where Momo was sitting at lunch.

"Hey, Momo, could I sit with you?" I asked.

"Uh... Y-Yeah! Sure, go right ahead." She smiled.

I sat down in front of her, "So, I had a question. Deku-kun invited me to Kaminari-san and Mineta-san's endurance training thing they set up at the pool today, would you like to come along as well?"

"Wait, Kaminari-kun and Mineta-kun are holding endurance training at the pool? That's a rather interesting coincidence being that the girls and I are also going to be at the pool. We won't be doing any training, we just wanted to have fun." Momo noted.

"Hmm... That is a rather interesting coincidence indeed. Perhaps there's some sort of scheme that they've planned out in order to convey a sort of ruse? Unless I'm just overthinking this entire thing." I responded.

[Several Hours Later...]

We all met at the pool once school was over, I guess Mineta and Kaminari were surprised that all of us showed up! They kept staring at the doors, waiting for something, or someone maybe? Their looks of excitement turned sour as the girls walked into the pool.

"Hey guys! How are we gonna separate the pool?" I shouted over to them and waved.

They all came forward but Momo stayed behind them a bit. I didn't know that U.A. had their own swimming uniforms, then again, we don't exactly take swimming classes here.

"What were you guys doing here anyway?" Jiro wondered.

"Oh, Kaminari-san and Mineta-san wanted to do endurance training at the pool! I didn't know you guys were going to be here. Leonidus-san, did you invite them?" Deku explained.

The girls all glared at Kaminari and Mineta, now I'm starting to get the picture! I looked at Momo who wasn't looking at me at all.

"Momo, should we separate these pools being that you guys said you were gonna play volleyball here? I think we'd have enough space if we cut it vertically." I questioned.

"I-I think you all should go! Y-You guys got here first after all!" She nervously laughed.

I looked to my right, what was she looking at? I activated my Base Mode and cupped my hands like binoculars.

"Are you seeing something, Momo? I'm not sure what you're looking at." I remarked.

"I-I'm j-just admiring the view, that's all!" She quickly responded.

I looked at her with one eyebrow lowered, "Momo... There's nothing but bushes and trees here."

"Yes! Aren't they beautiful?" She grinned.

I blinked a few times before nodding slowly at her. I walked back over to the others. I stared at the pool, you know something, I never realized that I don't know how to swim. Unless I did know how to swim before I lost my memory?

"Leonidus-san, are you gonna start off? We're gonna see who's the fastest!" Sero beamed.

"Sooo... You guys know about the whole memory loss thing of mine, right?" I asked.

They all nodded at me, "I can't swim."

"Are you fuckin' kidding me, Amnesia? We were going to a fuckin' POOL." Bakugo fumed.

"H-Hey! It's not my fault! I didn't think about that until we got here!" I argued.

"Maybe I should knock some damn sense into you, you might be able to remember how to fuckin' swim!" Bakugo smirked.

Kirishima placed his hand on Bakugo's shoulder, "Hey, take it easy man. It's an honest mistake, there's no need to get upset over it."

Bakugo grumbled something before crossing his arms and looking away. I sat on the sidelines as everyone started up this competition.

[20 Minutes Later...]

It was the final round of this swimming contest! Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki were at the ready. Momo blew her whistle and...

"Alright, that's enough." I heard Mr. Aizawa's voice.

They all fell face first into the water, "Aww... Come on! We were just getting to the good part!"

"Yeah, Kaminari's right, can't we just let this race go? Please?" Sero protested.

Mr. Aizawa glared at all of us, "You heard what I said, now get moving, time's up."

Most of us reluctantly sighed and went back into the changing room to leave. I got up from where I was sitting, I was about to enter the changing room until I heard Momo.

"Hey, Mr. Aizawa's allowed us to stay for a bit. I overheard that you couldn't swim so... I figured I could teach you." She smiled.

"O-Okay! I guess I could give it a shot." I agreed.

We walked towards the pool, she jumped in as I stood there staring at the water. The only reason I was able to jump into the water when we went to the beach was because of my Base Mode. I started off in the shallow end and slowly made my way towards the end where Momo was. I felt my foot drop which scared the holy hell out of me!

"J-Jesus Christ!" I yelped.

I almost sunk into the water until I felt Momo put my arm around her shoulder.

"Goodness, that was rather comical!" She laughed.

"Y-Yeah, I guess so!" I chuckled.

"Alright, I'm going to let go of you now. Do you think you can try and stay afloat?" Momo told me.

"I think so, I was watching how everyone else was swimming, I believe I've got the gist of it." I replied.

She slowly let go of me and backed away, I was actually keeping myself up, I figured I would've sank down already! Now the only thing I needed to do was actually swim.

"Awesome! You're doing wonderful! Now, go ahead and swim to the other side like this." Momo instructed.

I watched her movements as she swam to the other side of the pool then back. I mimicked her every move as best as I could, although it was a little wonky at first, I got the hang of it. I made my way to the other side of the pool without sinking, then made my way back to her without sinking as well. I repeated this quite a few times before stopping.

"Excellent job! Now, we should get going, it's rather late." Momo beamed.

I nodded at her, we both got out of the pool and headed into the changing room. Honestly, being that close to her, it felt... Nice. Or well, comforting I should say. I closed the locker after putting my clothes back on. I walked out of the changing room, I'm pretty sure that she was already gone, so I walked home by myself. My phone rang, I picked it up to see who was calling me.

"Hello?" I answered.

"I figured I should call you and tell you that you're doing... Fantastic... Leonidus. A new game is starting up soon, the buzz that's been going around this place is... Interesting to say the least." Shigaraki spoke up.

"As long as you don't hurt anyone, we're on good terms, keep in mind you've got my family on the line here." I responded.

"Oh, I'm fully aware of our little deal here. There's just one more thing I'd like you to do for me, Leonidus." He continued.

"And that is...?" I wondered.

"I want you to... Kill All Might." Shigaraki told me.

I stopped in my tracks, I felt my heart sink into my stomach, I nearly dropped my phone.

"So, do we have a deal? I know you're capable of it, Alyx. Unless... You're wanting your Father to die in his place." Shigaraki asked.

"O-Okay... I'll get it done." I muttered.

"Good... Good... Don't disappoint me." He replied.

The line disconnected, my right arm slumped down to my side. I stood there, empty and numb from fear, what was I supposed to do? All Might was a symbol to all of Japan and possibly the world, if everyone found out that I killed him...

"Hey, is everything alright, Alyx?" I heard Momo ask.

I snapped out of my thought, I didn't know what to say to her. I looked at her, Momo's face went from happy to a look of concern. I hugged her tightly, I guess out of everyone, she was the only one I felt comfortable telling it to.

"They... They want me to kill All Might." I confessed.

I heard her gasp, she hugged me back, "A-Alyx... You aren't..."

Her grip tightened on the back of my shirt. I could tell she was at a loss for words, which I honestly don't blame her.

"I won't let them do anything to you, whatever they've roped you into, it's not your fault." Momo continued.

"What do I even do?" I fretted.

"You need to get help, there's no other way but to confess." She advised.

I guess she was right, this has gone on for too long, I couldn't keep this a secret.

[2 Hours Later...]

*THIRD PERSON*

As the sun set on Musutafu, All Might looked out towards the city from the teacher's lounge. The door slid open, he turned around and saw Alyx.

"Young Leonidus? What are you doing here?" He wondered.

Alyx's fingers trembled, tears began to fill his eyes as his lip quivered. All Might rushed over to him as Leonidus fell to his knees. All Might dropped to his knees as well, placing his hand on Alyx's shoulder.

"T-They wanted me to kill you! I didn't know what to do!" Leonidus bawled.

"Young Leonidus, what are you-" All Might questioned.

His eyes widened as he realized what was going on. The U.S.J. incident that brought Shigaraki to light, it wasn't just random, they got information from...

"Alyx... You told them, didn't you?" He asked.

"He would've hurt my family if I didn't! They forced my hand... T-They..." Alyx sobbed.

He buried his head into All Might's shoulder, crying uncontrollably. All Might embraced him and slowly rubbed his back.

"I'm not disappointed in you at all, Young Leonidus. You did something brave that nobody else would've done in your situation, thank you for telling me, we won't let anything happen to you." He spoke softly.

All Might looked to the side towards the window, "Shigaraki... What exactly did you force him to tell you?"

[The Next Day...]

All Might sat down with Aizawa, Midnight and Present Mic to talk about what occurred the other night.

"Last night... Young Leonidus confessed something to me. Although he didn't state it directly, I could tell that he was ordered by Shigaraki and the League to kill me." All Might disclosed.

Shota leaned forward, "He what? Are you saying that... He was the traitor we were theorizing after the U.S.J. incident?"

"Yes, as an exchange for information, Shigaraki vowed to not bring harm to Young Leonidus' family. He was forced into this, him not being exposed to villains after losing his memory was most likely the cause of this." All Might confirmed.

"So, you're saying that Leonidus must've met one of the members when he arrived here? Him not being able to distinguish between villain and hero... This is a lot more serious than what I thought." Midnight responded.

"This definitely isn't what I expected. What do we do now?" Present Mic added.

Aizawa stood up from his chair, "We'll need to monitor him, make sure that nothing tries to harm him or the other students. Knowing Shigaraki, he isn't going to be too happy with his little secret coming out."

*LEONIDUS P.O.V.*

I laid in my bed, although it was about noon, I didn't want to get up at all. My phone buzzed, did I even want to answer whatever text message I got? I stuck my hand out from my blanket to grab my phone. It was a text from Momo, she sent me a picture of something, I wasn't sure what. I opened the message, I smiled at the picture she sent me. It was a picture of two dresses, she asked me if she should pick the red one or the turquoise one. I told her the red one would look cute on her which she replied with a "Stooooop, you're too flattering!". I could about imagine the smile she had on her face right now.
