I was just a normal high school boy.
I studied just a day before the tests, I had a few friends, my grades were fine, I was living a good and normal life.
But then, I died.
When I opened my eyes there was a woman in front of me, she was wearing a long and beautiful white dress. She had fair skin, golden eyes, and she had white and long hair, even though she was young.
She looked like an angel.
"Hello, mortal." The woman greeted me with a gentle smile.
"H-Hi…who are you? And where am I?" I asked confused.
The last memory I had was that I was in my bedroom. But then, suddenly, when I opened my eyes again I was in a beautiful field with this woman in front of me.
"So you don't remember…" She said surprised.
"Remember? Remember about what?" I asked, confused.
The woman sighed and then she looked me in the eyes. "You died."
'I died?' I was shocked. I didn't remember what happened before I got here. 'How could I even be dead?'
"…Is that a dream?" I asked looking at the field around us.
"No, human, it's not a dream. You died, just accept it." She said expressionless, though it seemed that she was… sad.
It took me time before I absorbed the news.
"...Is this heaven here?"
"No. This is not heaven, mortal."
"So, what is this place? ...Hell?" I asked, anxious.
"No, it's not hell either." She sighed and then said. "It doesn't matter what is this place, the important thing is, where do you want to go?"
"What are you talking about…?" I asked confused.
"You died, now you will get reincarnated, but first you have to choose what world you want to reincarnate in." She explained looking at me like it was obvious.
"...Choose? What do you mean?"
"I mean what I meant. As a soul, now you have to choose where you want to be reincarnated. What kind of world you want to live in, who you want to be, those kinds of things. You can choose before you get reincarnated." The angel-like woman explained.
After hearing her I felt excited. I've read many kinds of stories where the protagonist got reincarnated in another world.

She looked serious at me again and said. "We don't have much time to spend, just tell me where you want to reincarnate, then I will send you there." She looked rushed.

Looking at her I realized that she really meant that, as time passed she got tenser and tenser.
"Then, I want that money is not a problem to me in this life. And I want to be born in a safe environment as well." I don't want to die as an infant, I want to live a long and happy life this time.
