The world was not as it seemed. He followed it, drawn to an alley where the shadows seemed darker than usual.
And then he saw her.
A woman, standing tall and regal, her presence radiating power and grace. She was unlike anyone Kaito had ever seen. Her silver hair cascaded down her back, her crimson eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light. She is in white and blue kimono that seemed to shimmer with a faint ethereal glow. She was a Queen. He could feel it in his bones.
"Who... who are you?" Kaito asked, his voice barely a whisper.
The woman smiled, her lips curling up in a knowing way. "I am Miya, the first Queen. And you, Kaito, are the one I have been waiting for."
Kaito's heart raced. His instincts screamed at him to run, but something in her gaze, something about her, held him in place. Miya stepped closer, her presence overwhelming. He could feel the power in her every movement, and despite the fear building inside him, he couldn't tear his eyes away.
"I have chosen you," she said softly. "You will be my King, and together we will change this world."
Before Kaito could react, Miya's lips met his in a soft kiss. It was unlike any kiss he had ever experienced, as though a surge of energy coursed through him, filling every corner of his body with warmth and strength. His mind raced, trying to process what was happening, but it was as if his body already knew the truth.
He had made a contract with Miya.
A powerful surge of energy enveloped them both. The world around them seemed to shift, the air crackling with magic. Miya pulled away from him, her crimson eyes glowing brighter than ever.
"You are ready, Kaito," she said. "Now, together, we will fight."
Before he could even comprehend what she meant, the ground beneath them trembled. The sounds of monstrous roars echoed in the distance. Kaito's instincts kicked in, and he followed Miya as she led him to an open field where a horde of monstrous creatures had appeared. They were unlike anything Kaito had ever seen—hulking beasts with scales and claws, their eyes glowing with malice.
Miya raised her hand, and in an instant, her power flared to life. A brilliant beam of light shot from her fingers, slicing through the air and striking one of the monsters with incredible force. It howled in pain, stumbling backward, but Miya's gaze remained focused.
"Stay close to me," she commanded. "We will defeat them together."
Kaito nodded, though he had no idea what he was doing. He had never fought before, never even considered the idea of fighting creatures from beyond his understanding. But now, with Miya by his side, he felt something deep within him stir—a sense of purpose, a sense of power he had never known.
Miya dispatched the first few monsters with ease, her movements graceful and precise. Kaito, though hesitant at first, found himself mimicking her actions, using the energy she had bestowed upon him to strike at the creatures. Each blow was fueled by an unknown force, each movement more natural than the last.
Together, they tore through the monsters, their combined strength proving overwhelming. Miya's power was unmatched, but Kaito's determination and the bond they had formed made them an unstoppable duo.
As the last of the monsters fell, the field fell silent. Kaito stood, panting, his heart still racing from the battle. He looked at Miya, who was already walking toward him, her eyes filled with pride.
"You did well, Kaito," she said, her voice gentle. "You are no longer just a boy. You are now my King, and we will fight together to protect this world."
Kaito didn't know what the future held, or what it meant to be the King of a Queen. But as he looked into Miya's eyes, he knew one thing for certain: his life had just taken a turn he could never have imagined.
