Just caught up with the first seven chapters and I have to say, it’s quite a good start, at first, the pacing is a bit slow as the author mentioned too, as they are trying to lay out the world, there is also heavy info on the power system. But honestly, that slow burn really works here. It gives you time to soak in all the details and start piecing things together. The power system and the unique way of "borrowing" mana and the veil is a very interesting concept, personally I liked it alot. Aric Oswin, wakes up in this fantasy world in someone else's body, quite a generic start but hey the build-up was very good, you get the sense that things aren’t going to be easy for him. And the whole idea of being guided—or maybe manipulated—by the mysterious voice not knowing what will happen to him is quite good. Overall, the story sets up a lot of tension and mystery, and I'm excited to see where it goes. I'm hooked and curious to see how the story progresses. I will be giving it 5 stars for now to support, but this may change depending on the progression of the story.
