Okay, this is a really good fic, but I did expect an OP MC. This is more of a weak to strong story tbh, which there's nothing wrong about since I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but I won't say I'm not upset about being mislead. At the time I'm writing this, there are only eight chapters to the fic so things might change drastically, but the fic has rather sporadic updates which makes the fic feel way longer than it should be. My personal issues with the fic doesn't really take away from its quality, though. It's still written quite well and unlike a lot of other OP MCs, the MC here actually faces challenges and struggles in his journey to becoming strong af, and the reasons for him being weak at the start are pretty understandable if you take the time to think about it. I recommend at least checking this fic out since I do see quite a bit of potential in it.

Altough i still think that i didn't implement it too well, the whole point of this story, at least at first, is to be a weak to strong story, because at the end of the day, the One Piece world is full of strong af bastards, and if there's one thing that it taught us fans, is that unless you are born strong, you gotta face some hard struggles or a massive L at least once in your life if you want to become an asskicker yourself. I can also pretty confidently say that when the journey will actually start, Luffy and Makino will most definitely either stay on the sidelines to allow the rest of the crew to grow stronger, or turn their fights into one-sided beatdows the moment they start to get serious. That does add the issue of when unlocking Gear 5 would make sense, but i've already come up with a few solutions. Mini spoiler, it will definitely happen before the end of pre-timeskip.
Then can you please add that to the tags so people know what to expect? Also, I think it was implement pretty well. I mean, he's still a kid, so unless he has Big Mom's physique, he's not gonna be steamrolling over his enemies anytime soon.
