It is an average cultivation book, but the story here is just dumb. First of all we have evil sects and rightious sects co existing together and every rightious sect know where evil sects are located and will not attack them. Then we have a situation where Sect elders want to kill their deciples and consume them and raising them like pigs and still no one betrayed them and shared the sects secret information to righteous sects. Then each character acts dumbly because MC needs to kill them. So if you want to read this book turn off your brain cells.

giốngLMAO, you're really expecting the powerless disciples to betray the sect? you got 8 high level core elders who each one are capable of soloing every disciples in the sect, the power gap is just that wide lol the strongest disciple are just peak foundation level, the moment they broke through to core formation they get turned into a puppet, so again, they're powerless to do anything, how are they gonna betray the sect? wreck it from the inside? it's useless they're weak af, provide info to the righteous sects? it's useless the elders and sect master doesn't give af, unless there's a situation where the righteous sects manages to barged inside the sect, only then can the disciples actually betray the sect and cause an impact
(SPOILER, don't read this comment if you don't have read the novel) Even if you know where you can find someone if you don't have the strength to kill them it's pretty useless. Also the elder kill their disciples because they want to grow stronger to avoid being killed by the sect master that want to absorb them, etc etc. Why won't they run away or tell others ? Because for outer disciple they can't leave the sect, for inner disciple they have a curse on them that kill them if they betray the sect and for direct disciple they cultivate a skill (with a hidden side effect) that allow the elder to control and kill them as they wish.
