So I feel like this book has an interesting story line, but then the writing style is incredibly disjointed. It's disoriented and confusing to read, and if you stick it out you may or may not find yourself even more confused. Please Author, learn to write with coherence. Your flow is also all over the place, try to find a more rhythmic pacing and stick to it. Not a favourite read of mine, but there's always room to grow.
