No. There is a difference between inserting your own self into the work (SI) and inserting a created character (OC/CAC). A majority of fanfictions you would find are labelled one of these categories if you were on fanfiction.net.

Hey dude i just try fanfictiondotnet and i think youre kinda the right its just the author dont pur the SI tag or didnt bother by it cuz it not mainly use in this sight I just wanted to ask on what genre category or tag is a "reader" is i found a really good novel and halfway through it its suddenly regard me as a character or something cant realy explain it like *You open the door and stuble upon gold* i just wanted to remove that on my search tab but dont know what its is under

For the reader tag? I am not too sure, I don't interact with that kind of writing unless it is written for a game. If anything they are either the first-person narrative, mostly this style of writing is used in the roleplaying type of... Oh. I guess you can it [ Role Playing.]
