Honestly, most of the story is cringeworthy. The Mc is a gary stu and not the good kind either. The logic behind his actions is not there. The way the author defends an action is weird and inconclusive. He would start with the result and defends it by saying the MC is the smartest so he can do it. How he does it is not explained, what his family thinks is not explained, nothing is really explained. What broke the bank for me was when he told Harry that Dumbledore is as bad as Voldemort without thinking of the repercussions. Harry is not an occulemens and Dumbledore will find out about this conversation eventually which is bad news for Ron.
