A very good story that I would recommend to anyone. The only "downside" that I can point is that the chapters are posted too rarely. Days apart between each chapter (at least 3).

Plural for life is Lives, not Lifes. And instead of Lifes continue, "Life goes on" might be better

"had a troubled" might work better

"city adorned with" might work better

Very nice. I honestly hope he will be able to take the girls out of the game at some point, one way or another.
