Prince Keiran's voice trembled with restraint. "I should kill you now, Vesper." Vesper's gaze locked onto his, her eyes filled with tears. "Then why haven't you? One swift thrust of your sword, and I'm dead." Keiran's jaw clenched, his words heavy with emotions "I'm a fool, Vesper! You've brought nothing but destruction to my kingdom.
