Yes. It makes no sense for them to think he knows anything. Why in the world would the MC know anyways? He's young, not that powerful, and not in a postion of power. Or most Specifically not in a position of much power. Maybe he just doesn't like the dark. It's one tiny thing that isn't illogical. I'm not saying they don't know if he knows, but for them to actually think anything? That isn't just paranoia, it's plain stupid. Do you have any idea how many little things could be misinterpreted if this was the case? SO MANY.
