Well, said, while I myself am not fond of naive, innocent or overly cute individuals... that's just because they tend to be too overly friendly n' trusting, making me worry that someone may take advantage of them... And as far as making friends go, I'm 20 and I still tend to prefer silence with a peace of mind, without anyone around me.. left to just me, my music, a warm blanket, a hot cup of tea and my books {not just novels, but books of every kind}, and although I even made friends, that only happened when I entered 8th grade in high school, and it was more like a forced entry of friendship, were they just started talking to me even if I chose ignored them... but don't get me wrong, they're great people, but they tend to be too lively sometimes n' want to include me in everything they do, which I'm not quite use to.. but I eventually learned to teasure them for them, and they did the same for me. P- In any case, you needn't take these people and their words seriously, just write the novel as you've imagined... You know the value of your work, and I'm sure there's people out there that will appreciate it for what it is, and not for what they want it to be.
