kyofu's not using his cursed energy effectively "holding back". he's only been putting in effort increasing the effectiveness of his technique and not his effectiveness as a general sorcerer by using cursed energy in other ways, like reinforcement, enhancement etc. he's been holding himself back this entire time.

I think that may be why. As we know jujutsu society treats twins as one being. Sukuna eating and killing his twin might’ve given him a power boost akin to Maki’s.

Yeah. I originally created this story because I just had an epiphany one day about a story. I mainly wanted to write Sukuna, but I decided to make him apart of a larger plot (or am trying to).
