What if it was unknown who created the flaws for the gods? He was the seventh god. It may be a situation where he could not kill the gods but was able to create a perfect counter for them. He created 7 children in hopes of destroying the gods. 6 of them became perfect counter for the gods and the seventh became the balance between them. Someone too keep them in check.
