One of the reasons Daniel pays attention to Shield is to keep an eye on them.
Having similar powers doesn't mean they have something Kyptonian in them by default, just as species that look like humans don't necessarily have something human in them.
Although in the comics Atlantis is usually the favorite sea city, I thought that the sea is big enough for two large cities to exist, so Atlantis will be where Aquaman comes from and Tlalocan will be Namor's, two nations that will have their own future conflicts.
I think the main problem with these stories is that they want to cover everything and that, well, is almost impossible for just one person. Of course there will be things from both universes but it won't be a mix nor a dump of information everywhere.
I haven't announced it here, but in short I'm editing some parts, rewriting others and so on. I can't give an exact date, but at some point I'll be back.
Probably the best thing I can recommend is to wait and let the chapters accumulate, I can't speed up the pace since I not only write but I also translate (English is not my main language, therefore I write everything first in my native language for more comfort and then I translate, it's as if I wrote each chapter two or three times since translating sometimes takes me even twice as long as it takes me to write (sometimes I have to change the structure of entire paragraphs so that when translating it is more understandable)
Thanks, I'll edit it later
probably during the week (I don't know yet)
There are different versions of the character, I don't take a specific one but I make my own interpretation taking things from other places (comics/series/movies/etc) this Lena is very inspired by Supergirl's Lena but as I said before, it's not the same.
Have you ever tried to learn something that bores you? Even if you force yourself to do it, you will end up hating it (when I learned certain areas of programming for a reason that I don't even remember now, I know how to do things but unless I am forced I doubt I will touch code again in my life)
