Names are important. A lot of the times just the name of something itself hints at the history behind it. Think of the name of your country or region and look up why it is named that way. Very often there is an interesting back story behind it. If the names are bland and purely geologically based then it brings with it a severe lack of depth in world building.
So did she get his memories or not? Pretty important to know.

Time skips are the worst. I find it's usually a lazy way to skip character development and the evolution of the dynamic of characters' relationships. Or sometimes to set up an unforeseeable twist. Or to skip over "boring" but necessary character defining moments that may not be the most exciting but do a lot to tell you how a character is feeling. It happened before in the story but that didn't really count since went through what happened afterwards anyway. I hope that happens in this case as well. < Mostly unrelated rant
