Going the path of the mage would be wiser. Jack of all trades master of none may seem appeasing but the reality is an average mage can bested by a great knight and a average knight can be bested by a great mage.

This is a futuristic world. Assuming this is a global superpower there’s possibly millions in this city alone. thousands of awakeners all at the same time would be a logistical nightmare if some of the process isn’t extradited to other organizations

Don’t know if it’s coming later but an introductory chapter showing us about Michael’s past or how he died would be appreciated. Feels sort of distant right now.
