Tbh i dont get the point of adding rituals to lore considering they might not even be that substantial gain. After all, lots of witches and wizards died in the battle of hogwarts either way. So unless the final outcome is greatly changed, any gain in rituals shouldnt be that significant to make a big deal out of. Some fics make it seem rituals give them super abilities or something. But they dont alter the ending from canon so it becomes pointless. Imagine going through like several rituals or something only to die by some random low level cutting hex in the end. It only gains meaning if it aff3cts the end outcome

I actually thought it was an enjoyable read. Slow questionable start but i liked the mc's humor.i disagree with the other comment review since i dont see the mc has having a hero complex. More like logical desire to be strong to survive. Not to mention falling for hermione requires you to interact with the plot. I do wish the author continued but after supposedly breaking his phone, 2 years gone with no update
