A lot of major and shounen-worthy arc event is happening like, once every month, but Ruby would take no part in that, she would notice that her boyfriend would sometimes goes missing for a day or two once in a while though, and when she asked where he go, he would distract her with something else till she forgot about it.

1. The OC that Ruby would fall in love with is the same age as her, so he's 2 years younger than Reinhard. 2. In manga term, or our term, the OC is the main villain of the first half of the story, who in the second half, after being defeated by Reinhard and received his Talk-No-Jutsu, become a better person, he then become both Reinhard Rival and Best Friend and become one of the major helper of the Protagonist and become the manga Deuteragonist. 3. He's the latter, similar to Saitama, those who are high in power know the OC is super strong, but many people would just assume that he's just some random guy. He's also the type that doesn't like to attract attention, and simply do thing in the shadow.

Let me give a more through clarification, Reinhard is an OC from modern world, he got transmigrated into the canon RWBY world, and decided to try his best to fix everything that he can, and the story of his journey to fix Remnant become a Fix-It Fanfiction. == Then, in one of his mission to Vacuo, he met a Remnant Native that from the perspective of the Fix-It Fanfiction, becoming Reinhard Rival/Best Friend, and this best friend of his is the one that Ruby, the protagonist of this slice-of-life story, going to fall in love with. === In short, this fic is the story of a Fix-it fanfiction from the perspective of the Main Character Rival/Best Friend love interest. === Think of it like reding the story of Naruto from the perspective of Sakura (With Naruto as Reinhard, and Sasuke as the OC that Ruby fall in love with)
