other souls games is a good choice. I would most likely choose either bloodborne, DS2, or DS 3. I really want to choose worlds that I at least have basic knowledge of the lore so that it is easier to write about.

my only experience with WOW lore is from Warcraft 3, I have never played WOW so it is quite unlikely that he will go there. I do appreciate the suggestion and I will consider it at the very least.

Ray is a barely high school level, video game obsessed, loser... So yea, kind of stupid. I wasn't going for a genius level intellect and perfect choices. If anything, having him make stupid decisions makes the novel more enjoyable in my opinion.

No I-frames sadly, though that does remind me that at some point Ray will have to steal that golden shield from the tree sentinel.
