It's been quite a long time since I wrote the chapter so I could be wrong, but I believe it was first mentioned around chapter 30 so I apologize, that is a spoiler.
It depends on how stringent you are with your definition. Technically he could be far stronger than he is at any given moment, but it comes at a cost, and he's already leaps and bounds above his peers anyway so it's not really necessary. Hell, he could give many grown adults a run for their money quite easily.
Nope. I have no idea how to run one nor do I think I'd be particularly active, so I decided to stay away from the idea.
Truth be told, I was struggling a bit while writing these chapters. I can't speak for anyone else but at the very least, I feel like they improve after this.
He does have memories of his past life but I won't go into anything more to avoid spoilers.
To preface this, I am not sure if this is how things would work in the canon but it is how things work here. Wulin's ability to Tear and Crush are inherent to his blood much like how certain spirit beasts are naturally inclined to the elements due to their ancestor. From their bloodline's merging, Yuena will gain a stronger body though not to the extent of Wulin and the ability to use those two properties. To put it another way, I am giving Gu Yuena the absolute bare minimum of his skill set. On the other hand, her bloodline is simply elemental affinity but the ways in which that affinity materialize differ from individual to individual for a variety of reasons. For Wulin, this elemental affinity doesn't manifest as the ability to control but rather annihilate. If it wasn't obvious, this difference stems from their differing main attributes of Creation and Annihilation. On a different note, having two characters with the exact same skill set is foolish and I believe would be far more illogical than just granting Wulin a power unsuited to him. It is for that reason I gave them the same foundation, yet both utilized that foundation in different ways. In the example of Tear and Crush, Wulin uses that physically to dominate his opponents while Yuena would likely use it to cleave through any defense and allow her elemental control to shine. Apologies for the long message and I hope this cleared things up.
So, to be clear, I have not yet decided fully on what he'll get from the bloodline merging. Well, not fully anyway. The example given was just that, an example. It wasn't a finalized idea nor is it what I have currently decided on.
I probably should have said this earlier when the chapter first released so I apologize for that but I'm going to be lowering the number of chapters from three a week to two. The schedule from here on will be Tuesday and Friday as those should work best for my current schedule. I apologize again but unfortunately, it's harder than I thought to juggle personal responsibilities, college life, and working.
Nope, he doesn't know much media at all whether it be novels, anime, or even tv shows.
It's hard to say he's being underestimated when he's still leaps and bounds above his peers, but I see your point. I'll try to make the reveal as impactful as possible though I doubt it'll be anytime soon. His friends may find out soon enough but the rest of the world will be left in the dark for a very, very long time.
