Let me clarify: Harem sounds fun on paper but detrimental to the narrative. You gotta cycle through girls and their behavior for the man they like. Building genuine character interaction is gonna be hard. Most of the time they get boiled down to simps who likes MC's status instead of creating a genuine connection with him. Harem girls are stale. 1. Don't take a poll from these degenarates.(Including me because a Harem wouldn't make me like the story but women are women. I like women) 2. I will be honest...The romance subplot feels forced to me alongside the fact that everyone except Percy is an Ikki simp. I know Divine Beauty causes this phenomena but it just comes up all the time as oh they looked at his face and whazzah they admire him, they love him. I thank you for exploring character dynamics and emotions about MC but you gotta understand, the generic harem/Isekai MCs(trash 99% of the time) have divine rizz or beauty or handsomeness that sway girls around them. What would be more interesting to see is if Ikki's true love or the people around him truly got to see that at the end of the day, when Ikki was an average mortal man in his last life, would they still admire him the same or would understand that this a average joe who got the genetic lottery. 3. Ikki's true love: if your gonna go with Artemis, you really think that if she was a living breathing being in this world, she would share Ikki after breaking her maiden vow which she kept for eons. Already making her fall in love is a stretch, forcing her to accept that the only other man she fell for is gonna have bunch of other very thirsty(emphasis on that) girls would piss her off. Making her accept it...yeah very much a character assissination in this fanfic where her emotions and feelings are demonstrated( I know this is a fanfic so changing some aspects of a character is like a given). Thing is you gotta go with the natural flow the story is shaping up to be(Natural flow is hard to decide sometimes) and treat the characters like living breathing humans or beings instead of forcing them to do things for plot convenience or author's wish. At least that's what I believe, I am not a writer so do you do what you think. This is a long ass explanation. Take this criticism and you do what is best for the story since you are the author, the driver

No harem

I know this is a genuine/more humane side of Zeus that contrast with his godly persona. It's nice to see him at least thinking about being better after eons of tomfoolery and dictatorship. But I can't feel pity for him because in the end he is still gonna pretend to be the same, essentially running away from responsibilty that matters. I like that there is potential for him to become better depending on where author-san is gonna do with him, it's interesting
