to be fair he is writing about Arizona particularly and he's not too far off from some of them. you will come across shit like this from time to time especially in competitive instances. also its a story so they are usually at least a little overstated for embellishment sake

I can see Sis being his Mother. The path leads him to where he wants and she would almost certainly be his end goal at the time since he only knew the scientists and her. He thinks he has to do his best to reach her while she's guiding him the whole way. the path could have easily snatched her soul from wherever it was as soon as he got it.

yes and no. the path is an artifact at the peak of existence that was bestowed upon Vahn at the price of his enormous amount of karma gained passively through his stolen blood being used to heal and change lives
