Majority of the novel (90%) of it, is monogamy. The MC is hyper focused on solely his little succubus; although he is smart enough to realize other women's affections, he doesn't get tempted for that 90%. However, as one other commenter mentioned, there are chapters that provide MC growth and potential for a harem for at least 3 other female leads. SPOILER: The novel is switching out of a system into a cultivation novel. And emperor level cultivators typically have a harem since most female leads need multiple 'sisters' to sate their man. Also main female lead (lilith) doesn't mind her man having multiple women, especially when you get to the part about multiverses arc. Either way, the world building, leveling, powers, and fights are phenomenal. Probably the best I've ever read outside of Er Gen's works.

So he/she may just be taking a break to focus on making a living salary (this site gouges writers btw). If the author is from China, there may also be a chance that he/she had to stop the work due to r18. The r18 chapters were GRAPHIC, and China likes to put the ban hammer on authors if there is explicit Corn involved.
