I dont really want to shout out another book in the comments, as I feel it would draw others away from the current book, but if you have never read the 10 realms by Michael Chatfield, I highly recommend it, as it is semi duel MC. You can find it on Amazon but do so after you finish reading this book.

I think this comparison makes sense. He (deadshot) was weaker exactly because he didnt make up for his weaknesses and died.

Honestly I like the premise of the novel, but the writing or editing is terrible. There are large inconsistencies in timelines, and there seems to be missing chapters,even early on in the novel (less then 75 chapters). Until they fix these problems im dropping this novel.

Maybe mistranslation of vein to arteries? Could also be author doesnt know the difference.
