Also, the revamped chapter 2 explicitly says that all the time he wasn't remembering the canon story he spent it training as a warrior. Plus I always try to show him training and looking for ways to get stronger.

The last chapter shows his efforts in training. And his Nen training will also be described in chapter 31.
